“Great Place to Stay”
I had family stay here for a week over the Easter period and I must say it was a great experience. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, spacious room and had several perfect hostesses. Definitely our new home away from home.
“I surely enjoyed my stay!!!”
It just felt like home...exactly what I was looking for. The staff was very welcoming and always available to take an extra mile to make my stay comfortable. I loved the large beautiful livingroom and the garden outside. I would like to stay at this home on my next visit and would not hesitate to recommend this rental to friends that would like to have a Uganda home experience.
“A Much Needed Oasis.”
This lovely home was exactly what I'd hoped for and much more. My stay was comfortable and made all the more pleasant by staff who were very friendly, helpful and discreet. The home was a secure haven, well-furnished, spotless and quiet. The lush garden and gazebo provided a beautiful and tranquil environment to enjoy the outdoors. All advertised amenities were available and of high quality. For travel into the city centre, reliable transport was easily organized through the staff. My only regret is that my 2-week stay flew by rather quickly. I highly recommend this oasis as a base for your stay in Uganda.
“Lovely Vacation Home”
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home while we visited Kampala and would not hesitate to go back. The whole experience renting this house was exceptional - the prompt and courteous service, the beautiful house exactly as presented on the website, and all the little amenities included in the house. The only surprises were all good ones. The house was spotless, absolutely well-equipped , the staff catered to all our needs like family. A perfectly stress less family vacation that unfortunately had to end. T.A
“Beautiful house, lovely compound and above all I was very comfor”
Comfortable place with lovely people. Beautiful lovely big house can be recommended for families and group of people going for holidays.
“Relaxing stay, friendly housemates”
Ruhuma was super helpful in setting up my stay and was very accommodating when my dates changed. Everyone in the house was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay there. The house is located a fair distance from the city center, but it provides a nice, quiet contrast. The compound is very secure and all of the amenities were fine. Water and electricity were generally very reliable. The garden is absolutely beautiful and made for a great reading locations at any time of day.
“Beyond 5 Stars!”
Before we booked this place we were rather nervous booking a holiday home in Uganda. This was our first time doing this and we weren't sure what we were going to get! My wife and I always use holiday homes on our holidays as we cherish privacy! However; Uganda is not particularly known for holiday homes, so we found it a bigger challenge to find a place that meet our big standards! When we saw this place we decided to give it a try as no other place had given that impression! It hard to put in words the wonderful experience that we had at this place! The security was excellent, the maids were beyond exceptional, the house was amazing! Despite not having a swimming pool everything else that came with the house made us feel very comfortable and felt rested! Oh I could write an essay about this place! The only bad thing is the Kampala roads and traffic!
“An enjoyable stay in a comfortable, relaxing home with a pleasan”
This Kampala home is well situated for access to the city and for major routes out of Kampala. The house is well-furnished and secure with a night watchman and guard dogs. There is one large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a further double bedroom and a single room with a shared bathroom. The sitting room is spacious with comfortable seating and leads onto a verandah overlooking the garden. There is a good 'link up' with an excellent local car hire/safari company (Sipi Safaris) for those guests needing reliable transport (Ask for aakim or Rasheed, both of whom are good drivers, knowledgeable about most things Ugandan and very helpful, all at the same time).
“Beautiful oasis within Kampala”
I was fortunate enough to use this house as my base when I traveled within africa for 6 weeks. The house and compound are spacious and beautiful. The amenities that are available within the house were appreciated, and of high standard. I would recommend this house for anyone traveling to Kampala, or as I did, to use this as a base location if you are traveling around the surrounding african countries.
“Tranquillity with lush gardens”
Set in the heart of Kireka, this gem of tranquillity is homely, with big spacious rooms and a lush well-tended to garden. There is ample parking, and because I did not have a vehicle of my own, transport was arranged for the places I needed to go. The house is well situated, up on a hill, with lots of trees behind a high wall and once you shut the gate behind you, you're in another tranquil world. There is a thatched hut on the same level as the house, where meals can be taken, or where you can sit under the shade with a cup of tea/coffee or a refreshing drink. Ideal for reading and doing some work before the sun sets. The rooms are reasonably sized, clean, and spotless and with comfortable beds and fans to keep you cool (not that you need those most of the time). The double beds had good mosquito nets and the showers were always hot. The staff were friendly and very helpful without being overbearing - nothing was too much trouble. And . . . the house has solar power for those intermittent electricity interruptions.
