Description

This is a new home, built in 2010. There are two "normal bedrooms" and one loft room. Large A frame center to the home gives a big feeling in main living and kitchen area. Pictures give the place a better description then words.This home is IN THE PARK, in the Yosemite West Neighborhood, between Wawona and Yosemite Valley. We do not have laundry facilities here for your use, but there is laundry machines right at the top of our neighborhood.We reduce the listed rate if you only use one or two of the three rooms. We also can lower your rate for extended stays, ask us. We have internet, but it is very slow neighborhood wide. - very slow, think NO streaming, think emails only, and simple sites. Queen beds in the bedrooms, Two sofa fold out beds in loft and couch in main living room.

Getting around

At the top of our neighborhood is the Chinquapin summit "T" where Glacier Point road breaks off from HWY 41. There is a bus stop here. It is a good mile plus to get up to the bus stop from the home. Biking is tough as there is no space on the paved mountain road down to the valley. It's best to drive to Yosemite Valley and go on foot, bike, or bus once there.

Interaction with guest

We visit a couple times a year, you have the place to yourself. Our caretakers live nearby and can help with any questions or challenges you may have.

House rules

NO Smoking on this property. NO smoking in home, no smoking on deck or in driveway, or anywhere on property. No pets. WE expect you to take out trash and recyclables. There is a dumpster for trash with in 90 ft of the home. Recyclables need to be taken to the valley or somewhere upon your departure. We expect you to clean your dishes, - at least start dish washer.

If Hans (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
