One of the first "weeHouses" designed by Geoffrey Warner of Alchemy Architects, this modern cottage has been featured often in the design press, including the Toronto Star in 2006.
Nestled in 70’ mature red pines, with both good daylight and privacy, this modern cottage is only about 100 yards from the beach path to a beautiful semi-private white sand swimming beach with shallow crystal-clear water. We like to cook, so there is a full kitchen with a gas range.
There is no high speed internet, but there is decent cell phone coverage.
There are large tables, a gas fireplace, huge deck with Muskoka Chairs, a screen porch, Badminton court, a rowboat, and standup paddleboard.
1300 sf, 3 BR: sleeps 9 total
1 queen BR (for 2 people) on the main level
1 queen BR w/ 1/2 bath (for 2 people) on the 2nd level
1 queen BR with twin and bunk bed (for 5 people) on the main level

Response from the owner Thanks for the great detail on the review. We try to keep things in good working order, and so the honest feedback is very helpful. There are a bunch of different types of pillows, but we'll look at culling / supplementing / getting new ones. Appreciate the attention for the mattresses - I think that most of them are actually foam, but A new grill is in the works...it got back ordered, then canceled, and we haven't gotten a good replacement. The grill cleaning is likely to always be an issue, since it is like dishes: you have to clean up after yourself. We do provide cleaning in the rental fee, but obviously people need to participate in keeping things to their expectations while they are visiting. Thanks for staying and sharing your experience!

- How do I make changes to my booking?
You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Geoffrey (the owner) a message.
If Geoffrey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
