Description

The Exchange Building, completed in 1910 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, was refitted in 1996 to house 202 attractive efficiencies, one and two bedroom apartments, penthouses, and handicap equipped units. While the building has undergone a series of renovations, every effort has been made to preserve its historic features, such as the original mosaic tiles, an early-1900's era Tennessee marble staircase, the elaborate plasterwork, and the granite surfaces. The towering marble ceilings of the lobby exude the elegance of downtown living.

Located in the heart of the Downtown Neighborhood – near the nightlife, restaurants, and shopping – our apartments are the ideal home base for exploring the city. Living in a 19-story skyscraper allows a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River. Walk outside and explore the rich, dense neighborhood. Fine dining is offered within blocks at renowned restaurants such as Rendezvous!, The Majestic Grille, or Flights. Enjoy a pint at the neighborhood Irish pub, The Brass Door, or make the three-minute drive to Beale Street and relish in its famous bars such as Silky O'Sullivans, Alfred's, or Bardog Tavern. You could also take the trolley to Beale St, to the Pyramid, or around the downtown area, since there is a trolley stop a block away.

The apartments provide a homey feel with a luxurious touch and high-quality amenities. Several of the units located on the higher floors provide our residents a spectacular view. Units come with a kitchen, fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, oven/stove, pots/pans, and dishes. The Management office on the first floor is ready to assist you during business hours, and, as many of my residents already know, I am always just a phone call away. A laundry room with coin-operated machines and a gym on the top floor are easily accessible through the three elevators.

There are public metered spots all around the building for $1/hr between 8a-6p daily, free nights and weekends, as well as a covered garage half a block up the road from us that is $8/night and is paid in the garage. Note that these prices are non-negotiable since the garage is operated by a separate business.
