We are following all COVID-19 CDC cleaning guidelines.

Welcome to Tranquil Glen! Our cabin is nestled on 2 acres in the wooded mountains of Madison County, just a short 20-minute drive from Asheville. Our cabin is non-smoking inside. You can relax on the front porch, or grill out on the back porch. The only noise you will hear are the birds and crickets. We enjoy getting away from it all and enjoying Mother Nature and the peace of Tranquil Glen! Please read some of our reviews and see what our guests have to say about our cabin. We are pet friendly and do not charge a pet fee. If you have pets, please let us know what type of pets you have and how many. We have a kennel available for your use. We ask that if you leave your pet alone at the cabin, that you put then in the kennel. We strictly enforce the maximum number of guests to 8 people. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs, king bed and its own private bathroom which has a shower and tub. Bedroom two is on the main level, king bed. Bedroom three is on the main level, queen bed. Bedrooms two and three share a bathroom which has a shower and tub. Upstairs In the loft, there is a queen-sized futon, and twin sleeper sofa. The loft also has lots of games and books for all ages! We have a pack and go crib along with a high chair, for the little ones. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything a master chef would need. From a food processor, crockpot or stand mixer to a large collection of baking pans, There is a convection gas oven and stove with microwave and toaster oven. The fridge has filtered water and ice available from the door. There is a coffee maker with filters and a grinder for the coffee lovers. We also have a Keurig coffee machine. For seating at meals, we have a gorgeous chestnut table that seats eight. The living room has a reclining leather sofa, leather rocker recliner, and two cozy fabric chairs. The gas fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room certain to add warmth to your visit. For the TV fans, we have a 50-inch flat-screen TV. If nothing is on TV we have a smart DVD player which is connected to the wifi and will allow streaming. The DVD library is below the TV. There is wifi available from all levels of the cabin. The kids love the basement recreation room with comfy leather sofa and love seat, 40 inch TV, electronic keyboard, gas fireplace, ping pong table, hula hoops, balls, a kite, and a sled if it snows. Or the whole family can relax under the shade tree with a game of corn hole. We also have a gorgeous stone patio with fire pit for cool evenings. Perfect for smores or just relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. We do not supply wood. If you need to do laundry we have an HE washer and dryer. We also have an iron and ironing board in the laundry room. We do not supply laundry detergent, it uses HE detergent.

If you leave a pet at the house unattended, it must be in a kennel. We have one kennel in the basement for your use.

Our family had a great little getaway. 25 min to Asheville and plenty of excellent hiking spots near by. House and property were perfect, well maintained and secluded. Would definitely stay again.
