“Amazing Place in Paris”
Myself, husband, and friend found this amazing flat in Paris to rent for our 6 day stay. The owner, Patrick, was extremely fast communicating with us from the very beginning. He was friendly and very helpful with information about getting around Paris. The rental was a lot larger then we expected. It has 2 seperate bedrooms, living room, dining/kitchen room, and a private toilet with seperate shower room. Everything was clean and neat. Our favorite thing about the apartment was the view. We loved to open the windows and sit by them watching the sun go down, when we weren't out on the town. The flat is on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator, just a wooden spiral staircase. I sprained my ankle in London 3 days before checking into Paris and I had no issues navigating the staircase, it adds to the charm of this place. We absolutely loved our stay here in Paris. We can't wait to return and hopefully we are able to stay here again in the future. We will definitely be saving Patrick's contact information. If I could rate higher than a five I would. Excellent stay.
We had our week in Paris for end of March, 2015 and due to children we tried to avoid hotels without overcharging the accommodation cost. We found Patrick through Flipkey as one of the most convenient offers. Communication, transmitted details, advices all were excellent and made our stay there much easier than expected. Location of the apartment is good as it is near both Kremlin and Porte d'Italie subway stations. It is just near Periferique road that make easy to reach any area in Paris by taxi if you want to avoid rush hours in metro. Safe zone around with food shops and restaurants at 5 min walking. Apartment itself was clean and fitted with all items needed. Bedrooms were large enough and the living will provide you with extra comfortable space. Nights were silent and we had our deserved rest after visiting busiest places in city. Overall I would say is an excellent alternative to expensive hotels, offering the independence you may ask for during a city scape with kids and without being crumbled in a 3x4m cubicle.
“Great apartment, easy to access all of Paris”
We stayed for a week in this apartment - 4 adults and one child. More than enough room to accommodate us all and was great to have your own room to disappear into. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook. If you are staying, I would suggest looking in the cupboards to see if any staple items have been left by previous guests!! We stocked up and then found items such as coffee, sugar etc in the cupboards. We left stuff there too and put on there a date we had stayed so future guests would know when it was left! Patrick was there to greet us and helped us carry our bags up the stairs to the top floor - 49 steps up a spiral staircase. Good location, easily accessible from the Metro. We used the Port d'Italie Metro line as was in Zone 1 which allowed for easy access to all of the Paris tourist attractions. We purchased a book of 10 single use tickets which lasted us the week as we found that if we got off at the attraction we were wanting we could easily wander and get on at other stop. A fantastic patisserie on the corner which was hard to walk past each day without buying something. A big supermarket (although very hectic and crazy) was within a 5 min walk of the apartment. We had no problems with the area at all - didn't feel unsafe at any stage. I would recommend the use of this apartment for anyone staying in Paris for any length of time. Patrick was a great host, very approachable and checked in with us a couple of times to see how our stay was going. He lives on the ground floor so easy to find. Patrick's information sent to us before our stay was very comprehensive and we were able to find the apartment with no worries. He does say in his notes that there is street parking, if available, but I would recommend not having a car. The street was always full and I am guessing that if you did find a park you wouldn't be moving your car any time soon as they park bumper to bumper!!! All in all a great little find!!!
“Loved our vacation rental. It made for a perfect trip.”
The owner is nice and helpful. We were a family of 6. Stayed for 10+ days. The apartment was comfortable, very clean and stylish. With nice linen, towels. We liked the location. Easy accessible to train & transportation, grocery store & shopping. It was cool to live like a local. Would love to come back some day.
“A spacious apartment”
The apartment was situated out of the centre of Paris, but easily accessible via public transport. The apartment while fairly clean, was not pristine, the crockery was badly chipped and not enough of each type to have one each for our family of 5! Otherwise it was not too bad and I would recommend it to budget concious holiday makers.
“Excellent spacious apartment”
Having stayed in some much smaller spaces in Paris this apartment was a joy. Loads of room, and that was with 6 of us staying. Very clean, tidy and great value too. Few minutes walk to the nearest Metro which will take you anywhere, and near enough a main road to make it easy to get a taxi if you so wish. Handy little supermarket 2 minutes away, as well some great local patisseries and shops. A massive mall is nearby too. Very friendly service, excellent information provided by Patrick on how to get to the apartment as well as all the local facilities. Have already recommended this apartment to friends, and will stay here again when I'm next in Paris for sure.
“Nice comfortable apartment-highly recommended”
Since the beginning of inquiry for the availability of the apartment, Patrick has made it quite easy for us to get the information about the apartment and the neighbourhood and also to get to the apartment. There are two apartments for rent in the same building and we got the one on the second floor. We were 5 (2 of which are above 60) and I should say that the apartment is comfortable enough for 5 people to stay. It was quite clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There is a supermarket nearby and also bars, bakeries and eateries within 5 min. walk. It takes about 10 min. to walk from the nearest Metro station (Porte d'Italie) to the house.
“Highly recommend this owner's apartments”
Patrick has 2 apartments in this building and has done a great job of renovating both of them. They are modern, spacious and comfortable. A short walk to the metro and 20 minute ride and you're in the centre of Paris. Supermarket and large shopping centre is literally 5 minutes walk. Patrick is friendly, accommodating and helpful without being intrusive. My husband and I stayed here with a friend and this particular apartment could accommodate 3 more people comfortably. We highly recommend this rental to everyone. We were able to view the 2nd floor apartment and that was even nicer than this one. Thanks for a great stay, Patrick. See you next time we're in Paris!
