“Estes park getaway”
Great place to stay very clean and in order had everything one might need to be comfortable.great location to town and Rocky Mountain national park was perfect
This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The place had all the accomidations of home and everything was modern and up to date. Even the grill was new. Great walking path in front of property and easy access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a wonderful 3 days and would recommend this property to anyone visiting Estes Park.
“The most wonderful place!”
Estes Park was beautiful in april. Warm enough, no rain, wonderful hiking weather! The Bunkhouse was something else! Modern, comfortable, cozy, spacious, sooo clean! It had everything we needed. We were 3 adults and 2 young children and we had room for more! It is very close to Rmnp and close to downtown but isolated enough to enjoy the wildlife and quiet time. Brian and Denice were great! We would definitely stay here again if we ever visited Estes Park again!
I would highly recommend this well kept and immaculatley clean property for your next get away.Quick access to downtown Estes by car or by foot. This place felt welcoming from the start.
“Bunkhouse was Perfect!”
Our family stayed at the Bunkhouse for Thanksgiving. The property location was perfect! Super close to downtown Estes Park fun and the entrance to the Rmnp. The bunkhouse had everything we needed and so much more! The decor was classy yet still had rustic mountain charm. We loved the outdoor patio/grill area and had fun watching a group of Elk close up. We loved the charming Christmas parade and black Friday shopping in downtown Estes, supporting local small businesses. We miss it already and would love to visit again. Thanks Bunkhouse for a wonderful vacation!
“Beautiful Views and Comfortable Beds”
The views from the property are exquisite. Estes Park is such a charming location and the Bunk House is a perfect home away from home that comes with lots of western style and some incredibly comfortable beds.
“Perfect for an anniversary & perfect location!”
This is my husbands and I second year in a row coming to the Bunkhouse for our anniversary. He is Military and we are stationed in Colorado Springs, CO. We love to get away to this cabin once a year and just take in the nature of it all. Perfect location and my husband and I always get the smallest cabin; we love how cozy it is and very well remodeled. The owner is always very sweet and accommodating to us. We have decided to continue our tradition for as long as we are in Colorado. There was only one little thing you would have to be prepared for and that's a very small shower, other than that it's perfect! Fully stocked with more than you would expect and the bed is extremely comfortable! We will be back soon enough!
“The most comfortable place to stay in town.”
I never liked staying in hotels very much. They are often sterile, expensive, tasteless establishments that keep me separated from experiencing the aesthetics of the place that I am visiting. The bunkhouse, however, makes me feel right at home! It's a quiet shelter, set away from the busy town of Estes and there are only up to two other families staying there at the same time. I loved being able to use the kitchenette for cooking while I was there, and I don't think I've ever slept on a more comfortable bed ((seriously!)). Not to mention the unique, beautiful view. I attended the Scottish Irish Festival while in town, and staying at The Bunkhouse could not have been a more perfect location. It was just far enough for a nice 15 minute walk to town, and one free shuttle later I was at the festival! The bunkhouse is also only 4 miles from a National Park entrance and really could not be more conveniently located. If you are like me and look for a cozy get away spot that is quiet, convenient, and in a beautiful location, this place is definitely it!
“All the comforts of home”
Great rental Quiet, close to town Very clean and well kept Up to date and modern Would definitely stay there again
“We enjoyed the cabin so much we were in no hurry to venture out”
The location is the next best thing to wilderness, overlooking a quiet road below with the sound of the river nearby. Virtually no traffic at night and I heard no Harleys or car radios the whole time. Very pleasant walking through the area and friendly people. It's hard to believe this spot is so close to everything yet so peaceful. The hike to Old Man Mountain is about as close as one would park to hike it anyway, very interesting history as a destination for natives stretching back many hundreds of years. We took a tour the first day and the driver took a side trip to explain the significance of the small mountain before concentrating on Rocky Mountain Natl. Shuttle stops are very close on the little-travelled Wonderview Road, say 1/8 mile in either direction, but we declined though we weren't bent on long walks. Several times we encountered elk on this road and discovered the first morning that elk can sometimes be seen just outside our window. We cooked and grilled, and found that we had everything we needed. I was skeptical and brought some things I did not need! The water is soft, the towels luxurious, and the bed is very comfortable. I didn't think I would use the satellite TV but there were numerous music channels that made for some relaxing background music. I recommend making time for the patio area on the sunny side with the canopy, or the private seating area where we grilled out.
