Description

Our vacation house on several wooded acres has all the amenities that make a vacation comfortable and enjoyable. The sunlit dining/sun room faces the deck and pond. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and full bath. The loft-style master bedroom has queen bed and a fold-out double-size futon suitable for children or close family members, and full bathroom with separate shower and jacuzzi bathtub.

Our location is across the road from ocean cliff-front homes, and the coast can be partially viewed by walking down the opposite driveway. For public access to the shoreline it is necessary to go ~2 miles S to College Cove near Trinidad village, or ~2.5 miles N to Patrick's Point State Park. One of the area's better restaurants, the Larrupin Cafe, is a 5-min walk just S. of the house on Patrick's Point Drive The closest redwood park is about 28 miles N on Hwy 101.

Please note there is an unfenced shallow decorative pond next to the house so younger children must be watched. The garage is used for owner storage and is not available unless wheelchair access to the house is needed. The circular driveway can hold multiple vehicles.

The kitchen is well equipped for even gourmet cooking, and suitable for holiday meals. There is a simple charcoal barbecue on the porch, firewood for the fireplace and charcoal are provided. If there is something special needed, our local housekeeper/manager will bring it for you. The property is a quiet and lovely retreat from which you can sometimes hear seals barking or watch deer in the yard. The house is perfect for a romantic couple or family trip.
