If you came to boracay for relaxation this is the perfect place. It was our first time, and the owner was kind enough to guide us by emailing how to get to the place, who to call and how much would it cost us. I was with my mom and aunt, although we had to travel back and forth to the beach front which was 15 minutes away several times everyday, they did not mind especially when they saw how it was in stations 1 & 2.. Hourly there is a free shuttle going down to d'mall, so you just have to take note at what time it leaves. Breakfast is an easy fix because there is a fridge, microwave and water heater inside rhe room. i must agree that the room is definitely bigger than in the picture. we were 4 but we never felt that we were bumping into each other. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating, even though they knew that we were not hotel guests, everytime we have an inquiry or requests we are attended to right away. The best part of it was the access to puka beach, which most of the hotels along boracay stations do not have. We had a lovely and unforgettable holiday. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and will come back to the same place if given the chance. Thank you.
“looks better than the picture!!”
my sister and i loved this place. its bigger than the picture looks, has a nice balcony with a good view towards the sea. nice big bathroom shower and bath. bath is not huge but big enough for me to sit in(5ft 11") its got a microwave and kitchen sink nice sized fridge to with sml freezer. the owner was quick to reply to are emails and very helpful. alta vista has a nice infinite pool over looking woods and a golf course perfect for a morning dip and cool off. the staff at alta vista are very friendly and helpful. it is obviously far away from the action of white beach etc but it has a free shuttle bus into and out of d'mall (white beach central) every hour and lots of shuttles running at peak times(dinner time). buses stop at 00.00 but a tricycle ride is 100-150 pesos. its near to puka beach, which is a bit windy when we were there, but very deserted unlike white beach.
“Best deal in Boracay”
Our room cost about $40. To book the same room through the alta Vista resort is about $110. The only difference is you don't get free breakfast or maid service. I would never stay at this resort for the regular price, but for $40, it's a great deal. You can use the free hotel shuttle just like the regular guests do (although technically I think you're supposed to pay, but they don't know what room you're in). It goes to D-Mall and there's also one that goes to Puka Beach. Cons about the resort itself. There's no warm pool/hot tub. There's a pool that looks like a hot tub, but it's also cold. The internet is only free in the lobby, and it's incredibly slow. I mean, beyond dial-up slow. You can only get wifi in the room if you pay an outlandish price for it. And if you pay for breakfast (350 pesos) it's kind of a ripoff for what you're getting in return. My suggestion: get some breakfast food from the grocery store by D-Mall and eat breakfast in your room. Pros: The resort is located pretty far away from the main part of the island. We liked it because we didn't want to be around the night-life and noise. Others may not like it because of that same reason. It takes about 15 minutes to travel from the resort to D-Mall via shuttle. Or you can take a trike for 25 pesos.
Response from the owner i think there is a hot water shower with a tub in the room.
It's a very nice place to stay for vacation. very clean and relaxing place. Would recommend it to people who would like to take a break from stress.
This hotel is great. Although not right on the beach it is only a short shuttle trip away and a much better value then the hotels on the beach. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and always courteous. There's a shuttle that leaves every hour to bring you to town. If you miss a shuttle coming back, it's about 2 dollars U.S. to ride a tricycle back. The food is reasonable, but I would recommend eating out in town because the menu is pretty thin. Would go back here in a heartbeat!!
