Description
The property is a small chateaux more than 100 years old, which originally was a wine producing property and was owned by the same family for generations. It is situated amongst the wines in a beautiful countryside in South Western France, in the north of Gironde in a small village.
The recidence consists of the main house, where the danish owner lives and two identical houses for renting next to each other. The gites are located in an old stable, which have been tastefully restored and offeres privacy and own terraces. The property is approx. 10.000 m2 and is available for guests to enjoy.
Coming to Coindrias will provide you a vacation in quiet and relaxing surroundings, offering pool and playground at the gites for the children, and for the parents a visit in near by Bordeaux, offering all sorts of shopping, metropol atmosphere, restaurants and bars and the beautiful boulevards and green spots all over.
The Nord Gironde is softly hilled and is very suited for walking as well as bycycling tours. 4 bicycles are available.
The pool is shared between the two gites and garden furniture is available

Both gites serves well 4 persons and contains a living room with dining area and with fully equipped kitchen. All is restored tastefully and to a high standard. New mattresses and down duvets in all beds. Modern family bathroom in scandinavian style. Bathroom towels are provided, pool and beach towels must be brought. High chair and childrens bed available on request.
On request there might be room for 2 additional persons in each gite ( extra 20 euro per person charged)

The property is approx. 10.000 m2 and can be enjoyed by guests. The pool is 10 x 5 meters. It is covered every night to keep the temperature stable.
Right next to the pool there is a covered area where you can relax in the shade.

“Simply magical”
We recently stayed at Chateau de Coindrias and have nothing but absolute praise for the whole experience from initial booking to our very sad departure. The accommodation was of very good quality, very clean and very well equipped with comfortable beds and all the amenities we required for our 2 week trip. It was also very nice to be able to find two adjoining properties to accommodate our party of 8. The absolute highlight for us all was the magnificent pool with plenty of equipment to keep the kids entertained and keep us all cool in the heat! The location is very rural and picturesque with Etauliers only a few minutes drive away with a supermarket and one of the best boulangerie’s we have experienced in 25 years of trips to France. There’s lots to explore and enjoy close by and a wealth of fantastic restaurants all within easy driving distance. Lars and Susanne are the most fabulous of hosts and made the trip even more special for all of us. They were also super helpful in providing us with information on the best places to visit that would keep everyone from a 2 year old to a 74 year old entertained. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly, we will definitely be back!

“Fantastic gite will definitely be back”
We stayed here with our friends so hired both gites together we were a party of 9 with children age ranging from 3 to 12. The accommodation was fantastic very clean and surprisingly spacious. It had everything we required for our stay. The gites themselves are set in very quiet beautiful grounds and there were plenty of things to keep the children entertained such as swings and a sandpit with the swimming pool being the main attraction. The owners Lars and Suzanne could not have been any nicer they live on site so are around most days but are never interfering. There local knowledge is second to none and they made us feel very welcome indeed. They were also extremely patience and managed to put up with our noisy children and the dozens of inflatables they filled the pool with. The local area has lots of fab things to do if you can manage to prize your kids away from the pool there is a book in each gite with lots of information on places to visit. The local supermarket is 5 mins drive too which is very convenient. We will definitely be returning here as we absolutely loved the place to us it was a perfect corner of paradise.
