The garden at Casa Fiori ,described by a visitor as "a little piece of paradise",is full of interesting surprises.
A flower garden gives way to an olive grove, vines,fig trees ,cherries, apples,etc; shrubs and herbs perfume the air.
A patch of natural meadow land, habitat for a multitude of flora and fauna adds another dimension, as does the vine covered pergola and pizza oven
Caves,(Grotte) within the garden date back to prehistory when the present landscape was formed.This romantic setting is perfect for taking the sun , viewing the panoramic scene as far as the eye can see or just relaxing.

“Heaven on a hill!”
This is a lovely place. The house itself is down a quiet, winding street - itself a piece of Italian charm - in rural surroundings. The garden is on different levels, forming part of the hillside with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Our daughter was enchanted by the lizards in the daytime, the swifts in the afternoon, and the crickets singing in the evening. The house is a lovely home from home, a great alternative to hotel stays. Owners Paula and Una were on hand to suggest local places to visit - small, picturesque towns, hilltop castles, a lake you can swim in, a marina with wonderful ice-creams (of course!) are a few examples - and helped us arrange an itinerary. Both are Italian-speaking, which helps! Area is not so touristy so everything was very relaxed. We are going back this year - and as we rarely visit places more than once, that's a real recommendation!

“Lovely property in beautiful location with lots of attractions on the doorstep”
Good size house with extensive gardens to relax in and with beautiful views of the Cimini Mountains. Lake Bolsena with its lovely villages and Montefiascone are nearby. We visited other local attractions by car- Orvieto with it's wonderful cathedral, enchanting Parco Mostri at Bomarzo (Viterbo) , Bagnoregio precariously perched on the hill and the beautiful gardens of Villa Lante near Viterbo. Casa Fiori was clean and well maintained with all the equipment and facilities we needed. We only had the time to stay for one week, next time it will be longer!
