“best vacation ever”
Best vacation ever, grounds and houses were well maintained and Ms.Milagro the housekeeper was the sweetest lady you'll ever meet, I had reservations about traveling with a group of 15 people but diminished very quickly after we arrived because the property is so spacious that no one felt crowed.thanks Ms.Svitlana for a vacation of a lifetime." Beautiful crystal blue water and kayaking at your backdoor. would recommend to anyone
“Very, very ,very Nice!!!”
Just got back this week. There were 12 of us having a grand time. The grounds are spectacular, the accommodations could very well use some updating, in the beach house that we rented, the ceiling leaked into one of the beds where one of us slept. The refrigerator went down as soon as we got there in the main house (where most of our food was kept) we were informed that a repair person would come out,(that was on Saturday) no one ever came to fix it, we left on Saturday (a week later) Given where we were and the cost we felt that these items should have been addressed immediately. As stated before the place is heavenly, that's day or night!!! Lastly the folks (employees)who were there to assist on the property were of very little help to us!!! With the exception of the food situation,(throwing some away, because of fridge not working)the ceiling leaking, and the ants, and some other updates that should be looked at right away,we overall enjoyed ourselves muchly!!! Anyone going should you care to call or contact me I will tell you what to look out for.
Our group of four (two middle-aged couples) had an amazing and wonderful time at Pyramid Point. The location of the house is fabulous--a half hour drive from the airport, on the nicer East End of St. Croix, and only 15 minutes from Christiansted. The house has beautiful views from every window, is lovingly and artistically decorated, sits right on the beach, gets incredible tropical breezes, has every comfort of home and was spotlessly clean and neat, thanks to the housekeeper who made visits every other day to make sure we were comfortable. Owners George and Svitlana went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had everything we needed for the stay, kept us up to date on some emergency repairs to their pool, plus they gave us many tips for things to see and do nearby that were much appreciated. This place really is a piece of Paradise. The bedrooms were air conditioned, but the main part of the Pyramid house was not. Most of the time, this wasn't a problem, as opening the windows allowed cool tropical breezes to flow through the kitchen and main living area, but we did have one or two very hot and humid days when the air was calm and when it would have been nice to be able to turn on some back-up a/C. On those nights, we simply moved dinner outside to one of the cool shaded terraces where the breezes were lovely and the views were unmatched. There were also a few minor items of upkeep/maintenance work on the house that needed to be done--and that we understood the owners were working on. These items were truly minor and did not affect our stay, but fixing them would put the cherry on the cake of a truly incredible, one-of-a-kind house. All in all, we absolutely loved the house and were very sad to have to say goodbye to it. We really felt that we were in Paradise living there, and we thank George and Svitlana again for making it possible. We would gladly return anytime, and we highly recommend it.
Relaxing. Inspiring. Renewing. We took our kids to this location 28 years ago before it became Pyramid Point. We came back for our 30th anniversary and stayed in Tamarind. Tamarind was home. The beach pristine and as few people as we remembered. This property has everything you need for a wonderful vacation...beautiful beaches, great snorkeling, beautiful lodging, breathtaking sunsets...all very close to town. The only reason to leave the property is to grocery shop. Everything you need is right at Pyramid Point. There were two other families on the property during our two week stay. Tamarind felt very private even with others close by. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, tropical paradise to call home for a few weeks. The reservation process was seamless as was the care we got from Milagro while we were there. She checked in with us each day to make sure all was well and our needs were being met. Who could not ask for more...we'll be back!
“Paradise in St. Croix”
The pictures of this property to not give it justice. Once the gate opens you enter this place where beauty, tranquility, luxury, and serenity all meet. Svitlana is such a beautiful person, she was patient and accommodating to my group and Milagros is just as accommodating. The property is locating within a secluded and very quiet gated community and once you enter the gates to Pyramid Point - you immediately know you are on vacation. While relaxing by the pool you will enjoy watching sailboats and snorkelers pass by or watch a picture perfect sunset. If you choose to sit inside - you have so many options with amazing view of the St. Croix, ocean, and Buck Island. The open air design of the main house is simply magnificent. And you must see the sunrise - glorious. Shoys Beach is a 2-3 minute walk where you can get in the water and utilize all of the water equipment that is provided by the owner. And if the views during the day aren't enough - wait till the stars come out at night! I recommend Pyramid Point! I found a new love, Pyramid Point at St. Croix.
What can I say!!! it was magnificant, spectaular and every other adjective I can think of. Every one of the four homes were beautiful. The view from every direction is to die for. The housekeeper is a little gold nugget the owners have found. She is so helpful, my children and grand children loved the fact she was there. We had her do lobsters for us one evening, they were so good, the people who did not eat lobster ate it for the first time and loved it. The owner was so helpful in answering any questions we had before going, very quickly, and making our 50th Wedding anniversary with our whole Family a wonderful memorable time,
“The place to stay on St. Croix”
There are plenty of places to stay when visiting St. Croix, but as far as my wife and I are concerned, after our week of vacation for our 9th anniversary, Pyramid Point is really the only option. We were after sun, sand and privacy and we got all three. Right on Shoy's Beach, this property is absolutely gorgeous. My wife and I stayed at Shoy's Beach House, a 2 bedroom detached home within a few yards of a private gate that led right down to a beautiful stretch of beach that was never being enjoyed by more than a few families, offering plenty of privacy. Just a short drive away is Christiansted, with plenty of options for sightseeing, adventure and dining. We wandered all over St. Croix most days of our stay but even for the few lazy days we spent at the property, we had plenty to do. Since the property sits on a point, there are two very distinct sides. The afore-mentioned beach side for those seeking sun and sand and the more rocky side where we had a wonderful snorkeling experience. Using the snorkel gear provided by the property, my wife and I began on the rocky side and snorkeled around the entire point, landing on the beach. One of the highlights of our entire trip was the 50 yards or so where we were joined by two sea turtles. The service was perhaps the shining star of our stay. We originally booked the Tamarind House, a freestanding, quaint studio that was closer to our budget. About a week before we left, we were offered a free upgrade to the Beach House, which we quickly accepted. When we experienced a problem connecting to the internet, the property owner arranged a service call to get it quickly resolved. Friendly, prompt service is a rare thing these days. For a week we lived like kings in our beachfront home, reveling in all the jealousy we'd receive when we got home and showed everyone our pictures. For those like us, who are after a Caribbean beach experience that surpasses being a number in a hotel, Pyramid Point will not disappoint.
“Best location for St. Croix vacation!”
Just returned from a great vacation on St. Croix. This property had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The Reef House was ideal for enjoying the premier location (one of our favorite beaches on the island), and the view from the living area and spacious screened in porch (where we spent most of our time) was amazing. The home is not luxurious or fussy by any means, but is extremely comfortable and just what we needed for a relaxing vacation. It was a pleasure dealing with the property owner, and the housekeeping staff was helpful and personable too. We can't wait to return, only next time it will be for a longer stay!
“Best place to stay on St. Croix”
I had the pleasure of staying here for 9 days. It was truly a pleasure. It was the most convenient and relaxing place to stay while I was on St. Croix. I was there on business and would have to say that after speaking with my local associates, Shoy's beach was considered to be the best place to stay or live on the island, (the cleanest and safest) and Pyramid point was the best place to stay on Shoys. I had a great time, felt it made my time there both relaxing and special, and felt that my business trip was a vacation even after working 12-13 hour days. If you have to stay somewhere you will not regret the pyramid house. Definitely an experience I will remember for a long time.
“A wonderful, fun, relaxing family vacation”
Staying at Pyramid Point was truely a wonderful experience. Our family (4 adults and 4 children -( ages 16 - 7)had a wonderful time - the Reef House and the Beach House were very accomodating - nice to have beach chairs and beach towels provided. Shoys beach was almost like having a private beach and the 2 kayaks provided all of us with an enjoyable, fun time. The swimming pool was super - can't beat the view. It made our vacation easy by being able to walk right out to the beach or to the pool - and also to cross over to the Tamarind Reef Bar for a drink or light fare. A must is a trip to Buck Island for snorkling - we used Buck Island Charters and highy recommend them. Dinner at Duggans Reef on the East side was super - great atmosphere and great food - but with wonderful ammentities at our rental we really didn't or need to leave for anything - cooking in was easy with the provided gas grill - and there is no better view while eating dinner right at Pyramid Point!
