Beautiful villa with private swimming pool and cook, nestled in a tropical lush garden. Friendly and well organized staff who perform their duties unobtrusively to perfect your stay. Eco-friendly home, the rain water collection and the solar system produces enough energy to cover its own demand and is used as a backup. Semi-salted water from the well is used for the swimming pools, this warm water as well as the water into the creek is a very affordable SPA and contribute to your general wellness, it is a great gift from nature! To complete your wellness our qualified masseuse & beautician can assist you with her special treatment packages, including different massages, body scrub, waxing, pedicure, manicure using only the best natural products at very competitive prices. You will come back home in pristine condition!

Located in a very peaceful area, this house is parted into 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each and fans, 2 bathrooms,1 living room with an office desk, flat screen satellite TV and free internet unlimited WiFi access, 1 fully equipped kitchen, all beds and windows with mosquitos nets. This house feature 1 large fully-furnished veranda and patio area. Canoe for 2 pers. is available free of charge, darts game with dartboard, books, chess game, cards game. Higher DSTV channels packages available on demand and air-conditioning at extra cost.

Kilifi is on the Kenyan north coast, half-way between Mombasa and Malindi, the Indian Ocean enters into the mainland forming a deep inlet, which in English is known as a "creek". In its narrowest part a few hundred meters from the sea a bridge connect Mnarani to Kilifi, further inland the creek widens into a big lake and divides into dozens of channels many of them are navigable such as Rare river.

The villa is located in this unique ecological surroundings bordered with mangrove forest, at only a few meters to one of the several sandy cove beaches. This beach has been the scenery for the well known french movie "L' Africain" with Catherine Deneuve and Philippe Noiret.

The large veranda which is facing west opens beautiful sunset views over the Indian Ocean as a stunning background scenery, and is overlooking the tropical lush garden.

Our cook, chef Muramba will be pleased to prepare for you African and Swahili dishes with coconuts as well as what you usually like to eat (he knows about European and Indian cuisine). Fishermen will come directly to your gate to offer their day catch (fish, lobster, prawns, crabs). Our gardener Saidi will take you around the garden to explain the different species of tropical trees & plants, also he will be pleased to take you to Gyriamas' villages nearby for a walk. Dhow tours on the creek to bird island, and snorkling can be arranged departure from the beach near the property. All watersports available at Mnarani club and Kite surfing at Bofa Beach.

Getting around

Located at only 500 meters from the Distance Relatives Kilifi backpackers. Many local and international restaurants available at Kilifi dowtown, 5 minutes drive to Tuskys supermarket, Post Office, several banks and international ATM, fruits and vegetables markets, fish, meat, groceries, shops, pharmacy, hospitals.Taxis, Piki Piki (motorbike taxi) & Tuk Tuk available at Sunset Villa. Matatu stop at Kilifi bridge station and bus station downtown. Only a few hours drive to the National Parks, Tsavo East & West, Taïta Hills, Lumo community, Amboseli, Kilimandjaro or Masai Mara. Safaris can be arranged and organized on site.

Interaction with guest

You can let us know your time of arrival and departure, then I'll send a rental agreement. Use of AC will be charged 500 Ksh per night and room. We want you to know that we're doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (i.e. doorknobs, switches, remotes etc.) before you check in. Enjoy your stay and be safe!
