Chateau for rent in Languedoc Roussillon near Mirepoix, Carcassonne and Toulouse
La Commanderie of Plaigne is a prestigious Cathar chateau and Commanderie of the knights of Malta set in parkland of 10 acres with a private swimming pool .
Make yourself at home throughout the property which houses up to 21 guests in comfortable and refined bedrooms, and hosts around one hundred and thirty people in the 240 m² reception areas.
The house cleaning and the gardening are included in the rental price. Linens and towels are supplied.
The property is located between Toulouse and Carcassonne, near the medieval city of Mirepoix, around 45 mins from the Pyrenees and an hour from the Mediterranean.

Response from the owner Thank you for your kind review. I am delighted you and your guests had such a lovely event. Do recommend us to your friends, and tell them that hiring a tent to have the whole event outdoors is delightful, but there is also the less expensive option of using Knights’ Hall for up to 130 people. It’s a stunning medieval stone-flagged room – there are lots of pictures on the web site. We also have a removable barrier to go round the pool as well as the alarms – just ask. Recommandez le Château La Commanderie à vos amis en leur précisant que même si la location d’un chapiteau permet de profiter pleinement du magnifique parc, il y a aussi la possibilité moins onéreuse d’utiliser les salles de réception du château jusqu’à 130 personnes. On peut voir les photos de la superbe Salle des Chevaliers et des salons attenants sur le site du Château La Commanderie.
