- Very Good
Nicely welcome upon arrival . Well equipped apartment - very comfortable for 2 but ok for 4 ( you share bath room). Very well located in Dorsoduro, many nice restaurants and cafe in the nearby in addition to many cultural places ( scuole and Churches). Everything is walking distance.

“Great base for a week in Venice”
Our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed in andrea's apartment for 1 week in January. We found the apartment to be roomy enough for us, the kitchen was of a good size and well equipped enabling us to prepare meals at home. The apartment was within easy walking distance to the major attractions and easily experience the whole of Venice by just taking different routes to the major tourist points. The Supermarket, ATM, restaurants and cafes easily accessible. Andrea was extremely helpful upon our arrival, helping us with our luggage and guiding us to the apartment. He then provided a quick tour of the local area pointing out notable restaurants and points of interest. During our stay we experienced the aqua alta, which presented no issues as the apartment had gumboots for the family to wear that enabled us to get out and about. Great hosts and great location, I would definitely recommend staying in this apartment if you are planning a stay in Venice.
“lovely stay in Venice”
The apartment was in a good position (not far from l'accademia) so easy to reach san marco, bus station and all attractions. There is also a nice square a few minutes away where the drinks are cheaper and there is a supermarket selling a good range of produce, fresh fruit and veg and even gluten free pasta, pizza and crackers! The booking process and arrival could not have been easier. Andrea was kind and helpful thoughout, providing maps and good travel info. His father met us at the apartment on the day and showed us around the apartment. One of the reviews said there was noise from the street outside, but we found it to be very quiet. A great stay, really good price and wonderful hosts, we will be back some day soon!
“Wonderful stay in a conveniently located apartment with great ho”
Would highly recommend this apartment, especially for a couple; its very neat & clean, cozy, has sound-proof windows and modern fittings. Great location, reached in 7-8 mins walk from the Bus Terminus -Piazzale Roma; takes 15 mins from the train station Santa Lucia. Very warm hosts who also provided high boots in case of acqua alta high waters; easy access to the water bus Vaporreto and to all the tourist sites. Would be great if the hosts can install WiFi; till then a 10 Euro wind card is great for Ipads. Highly recommended place
“cosy retro style in the center of the city”
Lovely cosy retro apartment close to all major attractions but in a residential part of town. Friendly and helpful owners and great shopping and eating nearby. What more could you want!!!
“Such a pleasant stay in Venice!”
Had an amazing weekend staying in this apartment! The location was ideal with lots to see and do around the area. It is a close walk to everything you could want to see or do in Venice. Everything was clean upon our arrival. The host provided us with directions and information about our stay before our arrival. Once we got to the apartment we were provided with guide books, a bottle of prosecco and some food for our stay here. I highly recommend this apartment without hesitation! Enjoyed our stay, thanks again!
“Ca'foscari - A pleasure!”
Considering the price, the description and the location, we were afraid that the apartment was hiding something wrong... At the end, we found everything and more than what is written by andrea: a quiet place, clean with a typical atmosphere and a convenient location to all! We will definitely come back to venezia in this appartement!
“Plus- central location, minus- lots of noise from street”
The apartment has character. The alley outside amplifies the street noise. It would be very hot in the summer and even noisier. The owner is friendly and the apartment comes with a fridge full of food. Central location but avoid if you are a light sleeper.
“quaint 3 day get away”
We recently stayed in Ca Foscari for a 3 day getaway oct/2011, my husband , myself and our teenage daughter,it was a great experience. Andrea and her family where very accomodating, a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is quaint, comfortable and very well situated. It has all the basics and the price is reasonable. Venice is magical, we will surely return, much left to discover...Grazie andrea xxo
This is a lovely apartment and my daughter and I enjoyed our stay there. Yes, I would recommend it to my best friend, and yes, I would stay there again if I were visiting Venice. The best thing about the apartment is its location; it is in the centre of Venice, just 5 mins from a waterbus stop and a traghetto (a gondola which just crosses the Grand Canal), and within easy reach of all the major attractions. Andrea couldn't have been more helpful; he would have met us at the bus station (but I wanted to find my own way!) so he met us at the apartment, showed us around and gave us the keys. He had thoughtfully left us with some basic groceries (milk, butter, etc) - and a lovely bottle of Prosecco! The apartment has everything you need for a short stay - there's a full sized oven and fridge with plenty of crockery and cutlery; the shower delivers a wonderful stream of hot water, the central heating is fully under your control . We also discovered a hoard of really useful guide books and reference books, and there is a small supply of lightweight reading material (in a variety of languages) presumably left behind by previous guests. The apartment is quite small (just kitchen, bathroom and 2 bed/sitting rooms) - but perfectly adequate for 2 adults or 2 adults and a child. The one drawback is that we found the apartment quite noisy. It's a city centre flat - there is noise from other apartments around, and from people passing in the street outside. However, my view is that that's part of the price you pay for having a central location.
