Description
The Homestead In Heavenly Devon is a luxury holiday home for adults only.
Located in the middle of a beautiful 50 acre grassland farm just outside the market town of Holsworthy.
Sleeps 2 persons with plenty of space and comfort.
The living area is made for relaxing, kitchen modern and fully equipped, king size bedroom, bathroom bright and fresh. Perfect for couples looking for that extra special West Country holiday.
Outside on the farm we have an amazing farm trail complete with small river, ponds, hide, secluded fire pits and lots of wildlife.
The farm is just 5 minutes drive from Holsworthy with a full range of country shops, cafes and pubs. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and perfect for a variety of activities and pastimes. In addition there are many great attractions in and around the area, not forgetting the seaside resort of Bude, the amazing North Devon and Cornwall coast, and Dartmoor National Park.

The Homestead has plenty of space and comfort, an open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen. The lounge area is spacious with two comfortable leather sofas, stereo, TV, DVD, log burner and of course fantastic views out over the surrounding countryside. The bedroom is king size, spacious, but cosy. The bathroom is fully tiled with bath / shower combination and is spotlessly clean.
Although bright and airy, it is warm with efficient heating. Whenever you visit, whatever the weather, you will be very comfortable.

The Homestead is set in its own private west facing garden, adjacent to the farm vegetable garden and has views over wild countryside meadows.
The house has a lovely veranda with easy chairs and occasional table. The perfect place to relax in the evening sun.
The garden is set to lawn and has a picnic bench, hammocks and BBQ.
In addition you are in the middle of 50 acre grassland farm which you are free to explore. Beautiful and with plenty of wildlife, flora and fauna.

Response from the owner Thank you very much for this great review score. Really pleased you enjoyed your stay, our quiet rural location on the farm and surrounding area. Holsworthy is only a few mins drive away with a few pubs, cafes and takeaways. As you say they do not deliver. Saying that all the major supermarkets do deliver to us. I can only apologise for the internet performance. Sadly our location does mean our internet is not the quickest and does occasionally drop out, but usually it is fine for basic googling and e-mails and the odd movie. We do have very good 4G coverage on the EE mobile network. Vodafone and O2 are are a little more patchy, but are usually fine outside. Thank you for staying with us and your valuable feedback :-)

“Fantastic place to stay and explore.”
We have been to this property for a second time and could not have asked for a better weeks holiday. The place was spotless as usual and Paul and family are so friendly. We had everything we needed in the property and after busy days out it was a pleasure to arrive back and have a peaceful nights sleep. This was needed by us as the location makes it so convenient to explore the area. We visited Rosemor gardens plus Buckland Abbey / Cotehele house / Castle Diogo. There are other places we need to explore and even revise places like Cotehele as we could not see it all in a day. Paul we will be back again as I can’t thing of a better place to stay in Devon. We may even bring our grandchildren back as they enjoyed it so much the last time. We will be in touch soon. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. Alex meharg
