Description

We have 2 charming cottages available to rent in the heart of the beautiful Brittany countryside. Surrounded by rolling fields and birdsong and all within a 30 min drive of the fabulous Brittany coast and its renouned beaches.

Extremely well equipped and oozing Breton character, both the Cottages provide the ideal base for you to enjoy this truly beautiful part of France.

MIMOSA LODGE has 5 bedrooms (1 king-size double, 1 standard double, 1 triple, 1 twin and 1 single), comfortably sleeping up to 10 people plus a baby/toddler (cot available on request).

The large, open lounge area has a beautiful, Breton fireplace with log burning stove, and there are exposed old oak beams giving the space character and charm. The lounge has TV, DVD player, and radio/CD player.

A utility room is off the lounge and houses the washing machine with separate downstairs WC. A staircase leads up to the Master bedroom, a single bedroom, and the first of the twin bedrooms along with a shower room.

An archway leads you through from the lounge down a couple of steps to the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker & hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave along with seating for up to 10 people. There is a downstairs bathroom and the other 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 triple) are located above and accessed via a galleried landing.

The Lodge has its own private garden, with bench tables, chairs, parasol, and sun-loungers.

Set in 2.5 acres of landscaped gardens,in addition to each cottages' own private garden areas, there is a large grassed paddock with a Boules pitch and a 4 metre splash pool (during the summer months)

We also have a Games room with various games including Table tennis and a Darts board.

As well as plenty of open spaces for children to play, there are secluded areas to find peace and relaxation, but if you want activity it is available all around.

We believe that the client should know what they are paying for - with this in mind our rental charges are all inclusive - there are NO HIDDEN EXTRAS.

Both Cottages are non-smoking.

“Fantastic! Best Holiday Ever!”

Beautiful and comfortable lodge, the house had everything we could ask for and more. It has been so thoughtfully furnished and equipped and felt like staying in a warm and welcoming home. The hosts, Holly and Cha, are always around if you need them yet leave you in peace. They were friendly and helpful and gave us lots of local information so that we could get out and about and see the real Brittany. Such a beautiful area with so much to see and do. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the lodge as it was so comfortable but there are so many amazing places to visit that we made the effort to explore before returning home to the lodge for a well deserved relax. We loved Brittany, it is so beautiful yet so quiet, no hordes of people or great long lines of cars, it was just perfect. We will be back again next year for sure and as the lodge is so generous in size will bring some friends with us to enjoy it as much as we have.

Very highly recommend this wonderful farmhouse and holiday gites. It's rural, peaceful, safe for children and very relaxing. The accommodation is warm, comfortable and thoughtfully furnished - a real home from home. The beach at Quimper is only 40 mins drive away and there is beautiful countryside to explore right on your doorstep. We returned to the UK feeling thoroughly refreshed and de-stressed.

We arrived at Mimosa Lodge on our motor bike from Caen via the overnight ferry feeling a little tired and looking slightly dishevelled, but after no time at all were fully relaxed. A beautiful house, in perfect surroundings. Thanks to all concerned, we had a great stay. Looking forward to the next time . . . . . this year I hope!
