Driving along the same road once travelled by Battista Sforza on her way to meet her future husband, Federico da Montefeltro, which is to say the road that connects Tuscany and Le Marche, you are surrounded by rolling hills that appear to almost touch the Appenines and the Three Peaks of the free Republic of San Marino. Located 6 km from the centre of Urbino and 10 km from Urbania, the old Casteldurante, renaissance pottery's centre, Ca’Imelde overlooks this breathtaking landscape. The house, of recent construction, has been built with local stone and old bricks to reflect the local tradition. The ground floor apartment, 120 sq meters, includes living/dining room area with a large working fireplace, kitchenette, one bathroom w/shower, laundry room, 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, and a queen size sleeping sofa in a separate corner of the living room area. The large patio doors open up to two porticoes with eastern and western exposure: a perfect place to enjoy your breakfast or to unwind at the end of the day. Pets are welcome. Subject to availability, we offer guides for trekking, mountain biking, as well as yoga sessions and guided tours of the historic centre of Urbino, UNESCO site since 1998.
