The surroundings are tastefully landscaped with gardens & lawns, there are four swimming pools, one heated, Jacuzzi, snack bars, restaurant, pool tables, football facilities, golf & tennis. Reception can arrange taxis & day trips to local attractions & golf tee off times. There are also internet facilities, public telephone, library. For golfers, the Algarve offers some of the best courses in Europe, including those at Vilamoura, Vilasol, Penina challenging beach course at Salgados which is just 5 km from the resort. there are several theme parks & activities, cruises along the coastline, excursions & Jeep Safaris.

“Great accommodation”
I booked a stay for 15 days for my family husband, daughter and granddaughter and I, to stay at 285 Club Albuferia, Portugal. The apartment was brilliant and had everything you need and some, the photos in holiday lettings really need updating as the kitchen is all modernised and new, as with the walk-in shower in the on suite bathroom along with garden furniture. However, I didn’t know we would have the same bedding for duration of our stay, with no way of washing and drying to put back on the bed, this is something that needs considering! I would most definitely recommend a car, as they town, beach and large supermarkets are a drive away and very hilly. The taxis were approx €18 round trip, which we spent approx £250 plus just on taxis during our stay, although there is restaurants. small shop and pools on site, you still need to go off site as shop supplies is limited the restaurants aren’t the best, plus you visit a place to actually visit and see it too. I would recommend staying here as it is very comfortable and as I mentioned has everything you need but consider how you get around and add that expensive in your budget.

“Fab apartment”
Stayed for 5 nights in august and what a fab apartment we stayed in..just 2 mins from one of the four fab pools..Eileens apartment was fab .. beautiful outdoor area which was a sun trap all day long.. can't wait to use this lovely family friendly apartment again..

“Ideal spot to have a holiday”
Great location - far enough away from the swimming pools and main road to enjoy peace and quiet. Well equipped and welcoming apartment. As suggested by the advertisement, a car was not needed as the local taxi service is excellent and inexpensive.

“Suited us perfect”
Enjoyed our stay.The apartment is very well equipped. We used the heated pool most days,the shop is small but well stocked. About 30 minutes walk to Old Town with its abundance of good restaurants.

“Excellent Location - beautiful apartment”
We had a delightful stay in this immaculate and well situated apartment. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. This 2 bedroom apartment ticks virtually all of the boxes. Apartment 285 is bright and airy and beautifully furnished. It was really well equipped with virtually everything you could ever wish for – air conditioning, full size washing machine, tv with lots of channels, dvds, books, games, beach towels. No wifi in the apartment but available free at the Azul Restaurant on the complex which was located just 2 minutes from the apartment. Lovely large south facing garden equipped with sunbeds and patio furniture – we enjoyed many meals al fresco! The complex itself is very secure and very well maintained. The pools were magnificent! Very convenient for the local bus network and only a short stroll to Old Town and main beach. Would highly recommend - a great place to chill!!
