Description

The "Sunflower" Suite at Sir Charles House is the best place for your vacation get-a-way. This well-maintained building nestled on beautiful grounds, houses three suites including the "Sunflower." Curl up in the living area on love seats, experience the charm of this bright, airy, yet elegant space. All your needs were anticipated with the amenities - comfort, convenience and the ease of the "at home" touch is in evidence..

The house is situated in the small residential community of South Palmetto Point but not far from removed from anything. Seaside Beach where I grew up is only a 5-7 minute walk away and the beautiful Atlantic Beach a short 5 minute drive away.

The suite is housed in a building which comprises three suites and is immaculately kept. Each bedroom has its own full bath and the unit is also complete with a full kitchen and living and dining space. It also comes complete with a 42' flat screen TV and cable in the living room. Wireless Internet and telephone is provided and ceiling fans and split AC units are installed in the rooms. Additionally, the unit boasts its own stacked washer/dryer and separate driveway. The bedroom while prepared as a King room is convertible to a twin bedroom upon the renter's request. Beach towels, chairs, coolers and umbrellas are provided and a shared deck (used by other apartment renters) allows for relaxing or lounging in the warm sun or simply cooking up something succulent on the large propane operated grill. Inquire also for kayak rentals for use at the nearby beach.

We have tried to see to every amenity. Mama, my brother Dale and I will see to your needs during your stay; this is just our way to make you feel at home with family, island style.

Getting around

A vehicle is recommended if you plan to visit the other towns in Eleuthera or travel to some of the beaches (I am happy to quote you with an accommodation/vehicle combo package). Some bicycles and scooters are available on a small scale, golf carts are not. There are a couple of beaches within a 7-10 minute walking distance and two restaurants are also a few minutes’ walk away. Nearest small grocery stores are approximately a 7-10 minute, walk away as well.

This is what one looks for on a vacation, isn't it? Even though many restaurants were closed, it is good that so many of the other smaller ones remain open during the summer and you enjoyed what they had to offer, even the souse/soup van on the corner. I do enjoy them myself.
