Laurel Ridge Retreat is an elegantly rustic log cabin that is all about the views! And the fall foliage on the mountains is spectacular! Three decks and lots of expansive windows allow access to these dramatic views from almost all rooms. Cozy wood burning fireplace adds ambience and a cheerful game room gives the kids something to do on rainy days. Located in a quiet, private area that's great for a walk in the woods, but only 3 miles from Lake Lure Marina and Beach, where you can take a boat cruise or rent a boat, and Chimney Rock State Park. Two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and one with 2 twins, 2 full baths with tub/shower combinations, plus large loft with king 4-poster bed and office nook. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Cable TV, CD/DVD players and WiFi. Imagine yourself waking up in the comfort of your own beautiful log cabin, stepping out of bed and onto a spacious deck where your day begins with a spectacular view of Lake Lure and the surrounding mountains. Built in 2005 on a ridge overlooking the pristine waters of Lake Lure, this inviting 1,972 sq. ft. log cabin is the perfect setting for a mountain retreat. While it has no direct access to the water, it has spectacular, long range views of Lake Lure and the surrounding mountains. It is only a short drive to the apple country of Hendersonville and the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. Spacious enough for friends and families vacationing together, yet cozy enough for a couple desiring a romantic getaway, Laurel Ridge Retreat is close to swimming, fishing, shopping, hiking and sight-seeing in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.With 3 levels of warm, wood-paneled rooms, guests will delight in the hand-carved log furniture and charming accessories that ensure the quaint, rustic atmosphere of a mountain setting. On the main floor of this cabin is the fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, one bedroom with a queen sized log bed and a full bath. Downstairs is the TV/game room and a second bedroom with two twin sized log beds, a second full bath and a laundry room. Upstairs is a very large loft with a king size bed, sliding glass door opening onto a balcony overlooking the lake and and an office nook. The bed in the loft is positioned so that you can wake to sunlight streaming in through the windows and enjoy gorgeous views of Lake Lure and the mountains..

But PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO INQUIRE AS SOMETIMES SHORTER STAYS ARE AVAILABLE BECAUSE OF HOW OTHER RESERVATIONS FALL. We will try to accommodate your schedule whenever possible.

I booked this cabin at the last minute. I was sure that I would not get a reply in time, but Sharon called me back within minutes and we booked the cabin right away for a quick get away from the city. The cabin's location was everything. It was cooler outside and even got a little snow, but we still spent more time on the deck than in the house. The cabin was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Sharon even extended our check out time. This woman is amazing! Thank you Sharon for everything. We will definitely be back.

This was our first trip ever to Lake Lure and we lucked upon this wonderful cabin. The views from the deck are truly amazing. The house is very nice and clean and well decorated. We were even impressed with the patriotic placemats on the table! The house is very roomy with great space downstairs if you have kids. Although we didn't spend that much time in the house because we enjoyed the deck so much! The owner had just purchased a new gas grill which we used a lot. The location is also convenient to everything in the area including Chimney Rock State Park and a nice grocery store. If you are looking for a place to relax and relieve some stress, this cabin is for you! We definitely would like to return. Sharon was awesome to work with.

If you are looking to rent a home that has privacy for all then this is the place. the kids stayed downstairs and the mother in law on the main level and my wife and I upstairs which was nice for all. Sandra the broker the just awesome to work with. will definitely go back and the location is perfect.

How do damage deposits work?
