Description

This amazing large hardwood cabana was built right on the edge of the Placencia lagoon. It has a full kitchen with fridge freezer, 4 ring stove and oven, coffee machine and more. The bathroom has a hot/cold shower, toilet and vanity unit. The open plan living area has a queen bed, futon couch and plenty of storage for both hanging and folded items. There are fans in the kitchen, bedroom and living areas. We have recently added air conditioning - please note there is a $10/night additional charge if you wish to use it.

There is a screened door that leads out onto a full screened-in porch with table and chairs and hammock. Under the building is a washing machine and drying line for your use.

The cabana shares the lot with two other cabanas. The property is lagoon front, and canals on either side, adding to the tranquility of the area.

Over the water there is a dock where you can relax in the chairs or hammock. There is also a charcoal grill which you are welcome to use. The dock and barbecue are shared with the other two cabanas on the property.

The property is at the end of a shaded road, with water on three sides. There are plenty of trees, including Mango, Sapodilla, Cashew, Noni, Almond, Coconut and more, all of which attract a variety of birds, iguanas and more.

Getting around

A short walk to restaurants and the nearest grocery store. There is limited public transport in Belize. Taxis are available (no uber!) but we do recommend having your own transportation.

Interaction with guest

Herbert, the property manager, is available for questions whenever you need help or advice. The owners Anna and Goeff live in the area and will also be available when needed. They will also meet you at the property.
