“Beautiful place! Great location”
I really recommend this place. It's at a great location, amenities are great. ENRIQUE greeted us with champagne and drinks to welcome us. Will defenatly return
Response from the owner Daniel; Many, many thanks for your kind comments. Look forward to having you and your family back in the no to distant future. Rick Fernández Kin Maya
From booking to checking out Rick makes sure he takes care of you. The apartment on level three the top level has a truly amazing terrace with sun loungers table and chairs and a plunge pool a great place to relax and avoid the main pool areas. The apartment has two good size bedrooms with TV/s and a fully fitted kitchen very good value for money and a a very good stay we will return.
Response from the owner Thank you for your kind comments, it was a pleasure having you at Kin Maya and sincerely hope to have the opportunity to have you back in the near future.
“Look no further for the perfect place”
From the moment we arrived, Rick was the perfect host. The best part of our arrival was the surprise he had for us of the newly installed pool on the rooftop terrace. Our family spent many hours in that pool and enjoying the outdoors on the roof, including many meals. The new BBQ was also a bonus. The condo is beautifully furnished and clean. As we were there over Christmas, we appreciated the festive touch of poinsettias throughout the condo. The location is handy to grocery stores and only a few blocks from the beach and the attraction of 5th Avenue. The provided cell phone came in handy to contact Rick who was always available for questions or to book transportation. Save yourself time and trouble and let him book your airport shuttle. We had a bad experience with a large shuttle service and wish we had done so. We used his recommended driver, Antonio, the rest of the time and he was reliable, friendly and informative. You can't go wrong booking this condo for your vacation
Response from the owner Thank you, your comments are truly appreciated, knowing the efforts put forward don't go unnoticed is refreshing and very rewarding. No doubt this will help prospective guests better understand what to expect from our offering. Sincerely look forward to the pleasure and opportunity of having you back. Rick Fernandez
Our stay was great. Rick was very nice and looking to make everything perfect for us. The place is so sophisticated we almost didn't know how to turn on the stove :-) The TV and stereo system were very high tech, but we didn't use them as we were mostly into going out and doing things outside, but the TV came in handy one day that was raining for a long time. The phone is connected with wifi so you can call anyone in the world for free!! There is a security guy outside the property and he was super nice and sweet. We felt like at home with him. The location was perfect for us, the "Mega" grocery store is 3 minutes walking and that was a huge advantage, we thought we would have to buy lots of bottled water, but there is a great filter at the house and we loved that. The "Mega" has everything in one stop: food, boos, wine, pharmacy, clothes, you name it. We were starving when we arrived and there are plenty of options for food starting with great Tacos right at the corner of the street (1.5 min. walk) great healthy breakfast options to the left, ice creams, fresh coconut water, cup cake bakery, and more. The house is not at the beach, but we liked that. The short walk was great because that made the place very quiet during the day as well as at night so we wouldn't have to hear the music and all the happening at the night clubs, beach, etc. We walked to "Coco Bongo" and again, if you don't mind walking 5 to 15 minutes to any of the great things that Playa has to offer, including of course "La Quinta Ave.", where all is; this is a perfect place. Very safe even at 4:30 am. If you like some privacy, the Roof top is also a great place for more enjoyment. The pool looked very nice; if you like to be with nobody, this could be your place...we opt for the beach though, this is Playa!!! This ocean is one of the best in the world!!! The "Mamitas beach is about 10 to 15 minute walk and you can rent chairs & umbrellas for $30 pesos each. they have a restaurant and bar there, if you use their chairs, you can't eat your own food there, the restaurant has many options, but if you are in a budget, you can bring a sandwich and discretely step out of your chair and eat it out of the boundaries of the chair area. We brought our beach towels, but Rick even though of that! Which is nice because of so much weigh restriction on luggage these days. We are not into "tours" so we just took the "Colectivo" -again, walking distance from the house- and for $12 USD total we spend a morning at the "Cenote Azul" $70 pesos if you want to visit "Cristalino" also walking distance from "Azul" that one is $100 Pesos. They are both great. Bring your snorkel and visor or rent one there, no fins needed. You can buy "fish food there for $0.40 US. You can also take the "Colectivo" to Tulum and spend the day there. Watch, they will try to sell you all sorts of tours at Tulum, just pay for the ride to the Ruins $20 pesos and walk to the beach and so forth, it will save you minimum of $60 USD They will tell you that you need to buy the boat trip, but you really don't need to unless you want to ride the boat, I didn't ride it and I don't think I missed much. We walked to the beach and taxis told us it was very far and tried to charge us $5.00US to take us to the beach...Really? it was about 100 ft walk!! We would totally go back and stay at Rick's place. Rick and his brother really were awesome. Thank you! We had an awesome vacation!
Response from the owner Surya; Once again, much appreciated and many, many thanks. Your help and comments are invaluable. Looking forward to having you back at Kin Maya. Sincerely, Rick Fernandez
“Awesome and comfortable”
I just spent ten days at Kin Maya last February with husband and one other couple, what a great place! The apartment is very comfortable and has everything we could possibly need, we made extensive use of the solarium where we spent the afternoons enjoying a bottle of wine while cooking our favorite steak in the BBQ grill. The place is very well cared for and so conveniently located we walk everywhere, beach is only 5 blocks away and half a block to supermarket (Mega Comercial). Rick was always there for us with help and suggestions, his service and attention to detail made our vacation even more enjoyable. Pool, amenities, location and Rick's service set this place apart, highly recommended and most definitely we'll be back.
