“Beautiful central apartment”

Reviewed 17 Nov 2014

rom the moment we were shown the apartment by our friendly host we knew we had chosen our holiday accommodation wisely. The apartment is spacious, elegantly styled and with all the equipment you might need for day to day holidaying. For us, finding out what lies behind those wooden doors in the narrow streets of European cities was a thrill. We spent 8 days in Padova not really having planned excursions before we arrived apart from the obligatory coffee/glass(es) of wine supped whilst sitting in the market place watching the world go by. There is plenty of good information in the apartment about the city and region and (luckily for us) plenty of Piazzas in the locality to drink, eat and just relax. The local tourist office is also very helpful. If you like architecture, art, italian cuisine, walking, markets, warm sunshine and friendly people, this is the place to go. It is also an excellent location from which to visit Venice, Verona, Lake Garda and even Milan. Public transport is good and the trains cheap. If you get a chance, visit the hills outside Padova, they are beautiful and full of excellent restaurants. There is a wealth of interesting places on the doorstep of this apartment, too much to see in one week. We shall return!

“Clean, quiet & central”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2014

We stayed in the Isabella apartment for 4 nights in mid-August (2014) and really enjoyed our visit. Isabella met us as arranged and provided excellent guidance and information about Padova ... and the suite. The suite was clean, quiet, airy and well equipped. The bed was large and comfortable. We were concerned about noise and pollution because of the very central location ... but it turned out not to be an issue and we really benefitted from the proximity to everything. We walked everywhere ... and the fresh food markets were only a few steps away. Isabella, her husband and daughter were hospitable and helpful without being intrusive. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it.

“This apartment has everything you could want for a comfortable stay!”

We spent a very happy and comfortable five days in this apartment. Hosts Isabella, Francesco and their daughter Sara were very warm, friendly and hospitable. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped and in the perfect position for a visit to Padua - two minutes from the market in front of the Palazzo Raggione, and a very few minutes' walk from the other important cultural and religious sights. Despite being so central, it is also very quiet. Alan and I would heartily recommend it.
