Description

Our 2nd story full apartment with deck is only 4 miles east of Joshua Tree (gateway to Joshua Tree National Park) and perfect for seeing stars, sunrises, and sunsets. Sleeps four, but can accommodate more. Biker-friendly, Pet-friendly, People-friendly. This full apartment is upstairs, above our garage. 1bedroom has Queen bed and living room has 2 futon couches that fold out for beds. A half bath is upstairs, and a full bath with tub is downstairs. Large screen TV,.Dish network, DVD Player and WIFI are all provided. The full kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, full-size refrigerator, and a dining table that seats 4 comfortably but can accommodate 6. Small pets are allowed. Smoking outside is allowed. We are on a 10 acre lot, so lots of room, not a lot of neighbors. Central HVAC. Covered Parking. . Clean linens and towels are provided. You can sleep outside under the stars on your private deck if you bring your own sleeping bags.This apartment is a comfortable home away from home. Amazing views and lots of amenities. We are bee-keepers, and have hives on the property. Honeybees don't normally sting unless you bother the hive, but you will see them on the property collecting pollen.

Located 5 minutes from Joshua Tree which has funky shops, art galleries, and several restaurants. On Saturdays, there is a farmer's market that has great produce and crafts. Twenty minutes away is Landers which has "The Integratron" with it's fabulous sound baths, Giant Rock, and Gubler's Orchid Nursery. We are sandwiched between 2 "big " cities, Yucca Valley and 29 Palms which have their own special appeal. Four minutes away is Sunfair which hosts the Joshua Tree Music Festival twice a year.

We are 1/2 mile from the boundary of The Joshua Tree National Park, so you can take a hike into the Park whenever you like, and we can recommend different places to go based on what you'd like to do.

The reason we talk about distance in minutes instead of miles is because we never have traffic jams.

Some traveler's want to stay in town to be close to the restaurants or bars. Some people want to stay somewhere with a view. If you want the views, then The Cactus Patch is the place for you!

If Gayle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
