Description

Owl Cottage is a 19th century detached cottage with private off-road parking in a peaceful cul-de-sac in walking distance of shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. It has been tastefully furnished and decorated so as to enhance the traditional Cornish style of the cottage - beamed ceiling, natural coir floor covering and a Cornish stone wall.

Owl Cottage is let on a Friday to Friday basis. Other days may be available out of season.

Owl cottage was warm, welcoming and very well equipped in a quiet area that had the added bonus of a car parking space. The owners provided all the necessary items so that I did not have to worry about salt/pepper/washing up liquid/bin bags etc-this was very much appreciated. It was lovely to stay somewhere with such a variety of shops, eating places and a fabulous bakery-try the scones-they are the best ever!!! We didn't want to go home at the end of our stay because we felt so comfortable. The only slight issue was that we did sleep in the twin room as the double room did not have access to both sides of the bed but that meant we got the lovely owl duvets and we didn't fight over the reading lamp!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Glenn (the owner) a message.

If Glenn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
