TRIP ADVISOR CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE WINNER - La Maison Breuil is your perfect Central Sarlat vacation rental. A detached and centrally located period property, only a 5 minute walk to the center of the Medieval City with mature gardens and a private heated pool.

A recently refurbished period stone town house complete with private heated pool (note: we do not charge extra for using the heat pump), off-street parking for 2 vehicles and an additional space road side, 3 bedrooms (one of which is under the eaves), all of which have hotel quality goose feather duvets (all season, so you can choose how hot/cool you wish to be) feather pillows and white Egyptian cotton bedding, (professionally laundered and there are no additional charges for linen). Fresh linen and towels are available upon request if your stay is for two weeks or more.

Lovely private gardens with heated pool (open May - September), wrap around south facing sun terraces and a gorgeous new canopy over the rear patio area for shelter from the mid day sun.

Plenty of areas to choose from for outside dining, either in the sun or shade, with a beautiful teak dining table and chairs and large charcoal BBQ. Offering FREE (Super Fast 20/70 mbs) Wi-Fi / Internet and Free land line telephone calls, ipod docking station complete with CD and DAB radio, French TV, UK Freeview satellite TV with integrated DVD Player. The property benefits from gas central heating for the cooler winter months along with unlimited hot water.

The master bedroom has a150cm bed with en suite facilities, opposite is a twin bedroom with dual aspect windows (can take an extra single bed) and on the top floor is a single or 160cm bed (with reduced door height) in the eaves with family bathroom opposite. There is a fully fitted kitchen dining area with everything you could require, oven, hob, microwave, integrated dishwasher, integrated refrigerator, additional free standing refrigerator/freezer, front loading washing machine etc.

Lounge with dual aspect windows overlooking the Sarlat petanque court, log fire and twin sofas. The flooring throughout is a mixture of beautiful chestnut and antique pine. There is a highchair at the property should you require one along with a selection of toys, games, boules, scrabble, cards, Jenga etc, pool inflatables and cd's.

Your perfect holiday rental property, located within a 5 minute stroll of the "must see" medieval town of Sarlat. After a day exploring the region why not park you car up for the evening and stroll into town and experience the delights on offer, what more could you ask for. Sarlat is a small town of exceptional beauty with it's narrow winding streets, stone roofs and Benedictine Abbey. You will be mesmerised by over 1000 years of art and architecture at every turn, all accessible on foot from your Sarlat holiday home.We have created a lovely private town house from which you really can stroll to the gourmet restaurants in Sarlat with most restaurants being within a genuine 10 minute walk of the house! There is a boulangerie for your morning croissants and baguettes, with a lovely little deli next door just a short 3 minute stroll away from the house. You can visit the colourful Farmers Market and food hall, or indulge in French Cafe Culture and watch the world pass by.

Sarlat has many free attractions throughout the year including a Christmas market and outdoor ice rink for the festive period, art exhibitions and during the summer months especially open theatre, music festival, there are constant evening street performers, fireworks, acrobats, musicians, clowns providing nightly shows for your entertainment. After a day spent messing about on the river, visiting caves or chateaux, why not sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and watch the locals play Petanque, or even have a go yourself, there are a set of Boules in the house for your use. There really is something for everyone right here in Sarlat, right on your doorstep.

We had a really lovely time at La Maison Breuil, the house was exactly as described, we couldn't have asked for more. The owners were super to deal with before our arrival with a feast of information. During our stay, making time to call down and say a friendly hello and after our stay, thanking us and returning the deposit immediately. The house and pool were fantastic, incredibly well equipped. We were blessed with perfect weather and on top of that the Wi-Fi was excellent, a massive bonus for my husband as he had to unfortunately do a lot of work whilst away but could still sit with us outside. The local bakery is a 3 minute walk and there are two fabulous restaurants close to the house. Sarlat centre only a 10 minutes walk and is to die for. We could not have picked a better place for our holiday. We will be returning soon.

The location of this house is perfect. The house was spotlessly clean and its clear it is well maintained. The outside areas are well positioned for both full sun whilst watching the petanque players and a shaded area to get out of the mid day sun. Around the pool, the sun beds and very comfortable and again, different areas for shade and sun with a couple of large umbrellas. The interior of the house is well appointed and tastefully decorated. The bedrooms are very comfortable with top quality linen. We would definitely recommend this property for your holiday.
