Description

Riversong is a two bedroom townhouse located next to the beautiful Maitai River which flows through Nelson City. This peaceful location in the quiet residential neighbourhood of The Wood is right on the edge of the central city, a five minute walk to Nelson's rich array of cafes, shops and restaurants. It makes an ideal city retreat for couples or friends, but is only suitable for children over 9 years of age.

This two bedroomed townhouse is fully equipped to ensure that it feels like a home away from home. The sunny living room has windows to the north and west ensuring all day sun. With views over the flower filled garden to the tree-lined Maitai River this is a wonderful spot to relax with a book, listen to some music or watch a selection of TV channels on Freeview on the 32" LED flat screen TV. A selection of DVDs and books are provided, and there is an iPod/iPhone dock for music.The living room also has a dining table to seat 4 people and is next to the kitchen.

The kitchen is equipped with a hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, and pantry basics such as tea, coffee, herbs, spices and olive oil are provided. However if you've forgotten anything the nearest supermarket is only a 3 minute walk away...or there's the Organic Greengrocer, the Milton St Dairy, Milton St fish and chip shop or the Sprig and Fern pub (Hospitality NZ winner of the best bar in NZ!) just 2 mins walk away.

The two bedrooms have comfortable beds and feature top quality cotton sheets. Each bedroom has a built in wardrobe, bedside table, bedside lights and a towel rail.

The brand new bathroom features a shower, wall hung vanity, heated towel rail, extractor fan, mirror cabinet and toilet. There is a washing machine and outside clothes line for drying laundry.

The peaceful flower filled garden at the front of the property gets all day sun, has a dining table and chairs and has lovely views across to the river. Sizzle some steak on the barbeque and pour yourself a glass of one of Nelson's fine wines and enjoy all that the this city retreat has to offer!
