Important COVID update.

To comply with government guidelines I have had to make some changes to keep my staff and guests safe. This means you will need to bring your own bedlinen, towels and tea towels (pillows and quilts will be provided). Also the books, games DVDs etc have been removed from the Lodge.

Lakeview is a delightful luxury lodge set on the lakeside in the quiet seaside hamlet of Anderby Creek. Just a short stroll away is the unspoilt Lincolnshire coast with miles of sandy beaches where children can run free and dogs are welcome. Close by are the Lincolnshire Wolds perfect for walking and cycling with the more livelier resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe being just a short drive away.

The lodge has been renovated to provide a large well equipped open-plan living space with stunning views across the lake all year round. The lounge area has a 43" smart TV with Netflix. There are 2 double bedrooms both with televisions, One bedroom has ensuite toilet facilities and the family bathroom has a large walk-in shower, making it perfect for couples or families. Each room has individual thermostatically controlled radiators making it cosy even on the chilliest of days. The garden is completely enclosed making it safe for children and pets as there is no access to the lake. Day Fishing permits are available for the opposite side of the lake.

Getting around

A car is essential for getting around as there is not bus service. The nearest train station is Skegness and a taxi could be taken but once at the Lodge a car is necessary for shopping etc.

Interaction with guest

Our lodge is managed by caretakers who live just on the corner near the lodge. They will pop in and check that everything is ok and let you know where they are should you need anything. Their phone number and ours will be in the welcome folder as well. The welcome folder also contains lots of useful information as well as suggestions of places to visit.

“Lake View Lodge Anderby Creek”

We stayed at this lodge six years ago since then it has been totally refurbished to a very high standard inside and out. Very clean and tidy on arrival. The bifold doors open the room to the new decking with uninterrupted views of the lake. The brick built barbecue only needs a couple of disposable barbecues on it and your bbq party is set to go. The two double bedrooms, one with ensuite, are nicely laid out with ample storage space and plug sockets. The walk in shower is spacious and easy to use. And to top it off the lodge is only a few minutes walk from the beach. We do not hesitate to recommend this place if you are looking for quiet holiday in a high quality lodge

Lakeview is the perfect getaway. Ideally located in a sleepy seaside village on the edge of a peaceful fishing lake. The accomodation is very clean, with everything you will need for a relaxing holiday. The beds are super comfy and the view from the living room across the lake is idyllic. The best place is lounging on the decking watching the lake's wildlife or curled up with a good book. Bliss! I didn't want to leave and I'm already looking at booking again for next year.
