Located minutes from beautiful Dover Beach and in the heart of the St. Lawrence Gap, Southern Marsh is your home away from home. The house is located on a quiet street just one block from the sea. A grocery store, restaurants, bars, gift shops and an ATM are all within walking distance.

Owned by a family from Ottawa, Canada, Southern Marsh is a beautiful two-storey, 4 bedroom & 3 bathroom home. The home features a large, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, comfortable living room, backyard and covered patio, as well as luxury inclusions such as air conditioning in all bedrooms, free Wifi, a microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, HD TV and blu-ray player.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and a full ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms on the second floor share a bathroom with a large walk-in shower. These two rooms can sleep 2 people each, with the beds made up either as 2 single beds or one king bed. The main floor bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower.

Response from the owner We are so sorry you were bothered by the dust and noise from the construction next door. However as you noted, there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. I was not aware of all the work that was going to be done next door this winter so I did not even have the opportunity to give you an advance warning. As for your frustration with keys etc., we are doing our best to ensure a safe and secure environment for our guests hence the burglar bars and dead bolts but I will take your comments under consideration. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sandy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
