AREA: SAN MARTIN DE LOS ANDES; PATAGONIA; ARGENTINA

A newly build 2 bedroom retreat in the Andes Mountains. The 180" spectacular view of Lake Meliquina and the majestic mountains will make you feel at home with Nature.

A large Garden with mature trees and a sizeable Pond, the wooden deck and covered Grill will add to your relaxation.

The Garden is an adventure for Children of all ages. There is also a Play-house.

Casa del Lage is environment friendly. We generate our own power with Solar and a back up generator. The Water comes from a mountain spring and the collection of rain water.

The creek may dry out during the Summer. Our reserves are 17.500 liter in water tanks. Please try to limit your use of water to 500 liter = 150 gallons per day during the dry season!!!

You will never forget the night sky!!! Enjoy being one with Nature and welcome animals as your neighbours.

The road to the house is a dirt road as part of the National Park environment. You will need a 4-wheel drive car in the Winter.

House rules

Meliquina Casa del Lago proposes an eco-friendly stay. We generate our own energy with solar panels and a backup generator. The aqua comes from a mountain spring and rainwater collection. The stream changes its flow according to the season of the year so our water reserve tank is 17,500 liters and ask visitors to take care of the resource, limiting its use to 500 liters per day during the dry season.

Response from the owner This review is totally unfair. Our listing clearly states that the house is self contained for electricity and water. Unfortunately there is a severe drought in this part of Patagonia right now. Our water reserves of 10.000 liter were "used" by this party in a few days. There is nothing we can do against nature. SORRY!!!
