“Absolutely perfect”

Reviewed 29 Aug 2014

We stayed at Villa Cadenza for a week in August - and loved it! The villa is stunning; beautifully decorated and so well equipped! There were 5 adults and 2 children in our group - and there was plenty of room for all of us. The children particularly loved the swimming pool. The villa is easy to get too, and is far enough away from nearest town that you feel that you are getting away from it all. There is so much to see and do in the area, and the villa is so well situated it is easy to get around. We will definitely go again!

“A relaxing Italian retreat”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2014

This villa is just perfect for a relaxing and luxurious break. We went with family but it would also be great for a large group of friends - all the bedrooms are a really good size but there are also several living areas and loads of outdoor space so you can all have a bit of personal space if you wish and it doesn't feel crowded. The rooms were all beautifully furnished and decorated and really well equipped, especially the fantastic rustic kitchen. We spent most of our time in and out of the pool as the weather was so hot but also spent a bit of time exploring the local area - there is a lovely little village a shortish walk away (although up a very steep hill!) which was perfect for drinking cappuccino in authentic Italian squares and people watching. Also miles and miles of vineyards and the village of Barolo is just a short drive away to stock up on some gifts for home! The property is tucked away in a fairly remote location which means it is very quiet and relaxing but you do really need a hire car to get around. We loved it and we will definitely return!

“Relaxing get together with family”

Reviewed 2 Jan 2014

I stayed at Villa Cadenza with my large family, it was our first trip away together and absolutely brilliant. The house is wonderfully secluded in the hilly countryside and we spent most of the time in the beautiful pool! The towns nearby were typically Italian and offered more than enough in the way of food shopping and restaurants. The house is very spacious with both an upstairs and downstairs lounge, great for when kids and adults want to be in separate areas. All of the bedrooms are large and if you stay in a room at the front of the house, the view from bed when you wake up is spectacular! The kitchen is well equipped and the dining table was big enough for us all to sit around for meals. The best thing for me was going for a morning run and exploring the local countryside and magnificent views.
