Response from the owner Thank you for your comments which will be addressed with next trip there. Tough to get there often from Ca.. Had the place since it was built, altered the layout under construction to suit our needs when we lived there permanently. Has large walk-in closet and larger living room but no porch. We needed the interior space more than the porch and being so close to the pool and chairs didn't miss it. Condo isn't dark during day, most raise the blinds if more light needed. Thanks for your stay.

Response from the owner Several discussions with this individual indicated that he intended to have additional guests stay at the unit which is not authorized. Many of the items mentioned were not accurate as we have the unit professionally cleaned after each rental. Looking for anything he could find to complain about, never had a renter with this attitude making such unfounded complaints obviously due to the key issue for other "guests". One of the worst tenants in over 15 years.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Tom (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
