“Awesome Stay!”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2014

We loved our 10 day stay at Casa de Como. Casita#1 had everything we needed. With a fridge and gas cooktop in the Casita we stocked up at the local market and were very self sufficient. The bed was large & comfortable and we loved waking up to the song birds in the morning. The weather was beautiful, only brilliant sunshine and with the lovely pool we could relax and cool down when ever. The patio table and chairs outside the casita gave shade for reading and enjoying the day. The town of ajijic has lots of little shops, delicious restaurants, a beautiful town square and lovely malecon for a walk beside the lake. There is lots to see and do in the area. We took in the local market that takes place on Wednesdays and it was a bustling concern with lots of great food, and goods for sale. So much fun! A big thank you to our hosts Bob & Sharon who were the best and made our trip a memorable one!

“Wonderful ajijic”

Reviewed 19 Dec 2013

We just got back from 6 amazing weeks and absolutely loved it. Bob and Sharon are excellent hosts, very welcoming and always ready with advice on local attractions and pointing out all the lovely little nearby markets etc. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and you could not beat the location. One block to the lake front and malecon and a couple of blocks to the plaza. There are an abundance of great, reasonably price restaurants, all within walking distance. This was our first trip inland Mexico and we look forward to our next stay in 2014. I should also mention that the weather was great !

“Wonderful Month By The Lake!”

Reviewed 12 Dec 2013

We just spend a wonderful month in ajijic at Casa de Como. The location was perfect - we were just a block from the lake and two blocks from the plaza. Bob and Sharon are fantastic hosts, very helpful with lots of ideas for sightseeing and getting around the area. We did not have a car and found that the bus system is easy to use. We also hired a driver a few times for longer day trips which worked out well. Our casita was comfortable - we had a small kitchen for the few times we wanted to cook (usually just breakfast since there are so many restaurants within walking distance) and a lovely seating area by the pool. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit to Casa de Como!

“Ajijic Oasis”

Reviewed 8 Oct 2013

What a great place to relax and recharge. The well appointed casita is very clean, secure and affordable and is in the heart of the town. Everything is simply a short walk away, so you can explore the shops and restaurants, walk along the lake or just people watch at the plaza before returning to the peace and tranquility of your very private casita and tropical garden to relax in the pool. It's hard to beat and Bob and Sharon are superb hosts who take pride in ensuring your stay will be memorable. We had a wonderful 10 day stay and will definitely return.
