Description

Villa Alcyone can accommodate up to 12 people. We have a studio (suitable for 1 guest), 2 one-bedroom apartments and a two bedroom apartment. Because of the location, you are close to both the West and East coast of Bonaire. The apartments are surrounded by a tropical garden with palm trees and flowers. The new pool was installed in 2014.

You can also use several lounge seats in our beautiful garden.
There is plenty of parking space
There are 2 large BBQ and a hammock
Free use of a mobile phone with a local prepaid number. (Reservation needed!)
Several spare diving equipment available
All (well … almost all) types of cables available to view your photographs / video on the TV or on your computer.
Washing machine can be used for a small fee. ($ 7.50 per wash)

We offer a grocery service. You can order several items and we'll stock your fridge upon your arrival so you do not need to rush to the shops after a long journey.

If you need to rent a car, we can do that for you at competitive prices. Just let us know what car you need and we'll find you the best deal. The same goes for deals with the local dive shops.

“perfect place to relax”

We were very happy to spend two weeks at this beatiful place. It is located at an dead end in the quiet neighbourhood of Sabal Palm. A lush carribean garden surrounds the house and offers many places to rest (chairs, hammock, etc.). Most of the time we were enjoying the beatiful view from our terrace though. The appartment is well equiped and we found everything we needed for cooking. There was even an ice box for the beach. The hosts, Daphne and Jack, were very caring and always open for a nice chat. So were their two friendly dogs, Fins and Eclaire. We definitely highly recommend this place and are looking forward to our next stay there.

I've stayed in app 3 for 3 weeks. The appartment was spotless, big enough, and because it's located on the windy side you don't need to use the airco. Outside more than enough space to enjoy the garden. I am not diving, so i did not need Jack and Daphny's knowledge about that. Though we did talk al lot about fotography...above the beautifull sea. Bonaire is a beautifull island both under and above water. The rental care was perfect...but most of all I love their dogs Fins and Elclare. Overall a perfect location weather you dive or not!!

The friendly and hospitable welcome from Jack and Daphne lasted throughout our two week vacation on Bonaire. Their helpfulness and neighbourliness made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The apartment was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Any questions or concerns were always promptly attended to. The back garden is a wonderful place to unwind between windsurfing sessions or enjoy a home-cooked meal after island explorations. Villa alcyone is only minutes down the road from Jibe City/Windsurfers Paradise, and around the corner from Kralendijk. The community was quiet and safe. Our favourite parts were the personal touches - welcome snacks and drinks, christmas morning surprises and Jack and Daphne's excitement to host us on their island.

Due to a small article in our scuba club magazine we contacted Jack and Daphne and from that moment on it felt as if we were friends for a long time. All communications were very personal and we got a lot of tips to prepare us for our stay. We even could order our groceries on forehand so we would not start the first day empty handed. When we arrived at the airport we were picked up by Jack, instead of having to arrange a taxi. This couple is really making work of their apartments. Everything was very clean and it contained all the things we needed for our stay. Also they also arranged a rental car and scuba voucher and saving us money and time by doing so. Jack gave us all kind of tips on where to dive and what the best spot were. For people that come here for scuba diving, this is the place to be. And if you had a question, just ring the bell and there was someone to answer it. This place is a place we want to return to next time we are on Bonaire.

We stayed for one week with 2 couples in apartment no1. Our hosts Jack & Daphne are great. They filled the fridge. They take you out for diving if you wish. Jack can tell you a lot of things to know about Bonaire. The apartment has everything you need. Otherwise just ask. You need a car which Jack & Daphne also can provide. For diving make sure you rent a pick-up. The area where the apartments are is nice and quiet. We can recommend everyone to stay at Villa alcyone.

We have visited Bonaire 7 times and Villa alcyone is one of the best! The accomodation we used is a one bedroom apartment and it was clean, spacious and very good equipped. The service is very personal by owners Jack and Daphne and dedicated for you to have an overall great stay. It didn't matter if we needed more kitchensupplies, advice for a really good diving spot or a buddy. Even the car rental they organized for us. The BBQ was great way to say goodbye to the other guests we got to know.

I stayed in the studio apartment for two weeks. The villa is located in a quiet residential area. The studio is well equipped and very affordable for the single traveller. Daphne and Jack were attentive to my needs and available to answer my questions about Bonaire. Truly wonderful hosts!

After our 2 week stay in February at Villa alcyone we can only say good things about the accomodation, location and the wonderful owners, Daphne and Jack who did everything possible to make our stay memorable. We are windsurfers so Villa alcyone is extremely convenient to Lac Bay where all the action takes place (barely 10 minutes away) besides being convenient to excellent diving and snorkelling sites. The units are very well equipped even with a 4 burner stove and oven and a large refrigerator and all the kitchen utensils one would ever desire. Villa alcyone is located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood which is a big plus in Bonaire.

Nice apartment with garden full of shade in quiet and safe neighborhood. Good quality for good price. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and provided us with nice snorkeltips and information on the island.
