Description

Amazing house for a relaxing holiday in France - yes you to can afford a break away from the office and pop into France for a week, month or just a weekend. It’s a two bedroom (one double, one twin room) with one airy and light bathroom and a open plan living room, dining room and kitchen all connected so conversations can happen while meals are cooked and shared.

The living room has a sofa bed in emergencies but we don't think it would give a great nights sleep unless the French grape has taken over.

There is a large covered balcony great for dining and entertaining overlooking gardens and countryside as well as a another dining area which has spectacular views over the landscape

The grounds are large with lends itself for outdoor activities, entertainment and of course sunbathing, there is ample space to park your and your guests cars.

Location

Property is 1.5 km from Montaigu De Quercy (not walkable as v steep hill!) – Location of property is rural – to get there you turn off a small road onto a farm track; views are spectacular overlooking the hilly landscape. Although quiet we have neighbours so it doesn't feel isolated or unsafe.

It boasts a lovely old hilltop village with 3 restaurants, provisions shops and the best boulangerie in the area! There is a great market on a Saturday morning where you can get wonderful fresh produce - Montaigu De Quercy also has a great swimming lake with restaurant and bar on its shores.

The nearest Airport: Bergerac (45 mins), Toulouse (1 hr 15)

It is close to many of the great medieval Bastides (walled villages) many of whom also have great markets,
