Step inside the door to the irresistible smell of fragrant candles, freshly home baked bread and quiet music playing in the background - and spoil yourself.

Slip into a luxurious, fluffy bathrobe and fill the double spa with bubbles. Pop a cork, nibble on cheese and bickies, and just sink into serenity.

Graze through the fridge and discover the sumptuous array of breakfast provisions and whip up an espresso or a cappuccino, and then curl up together in front of the gas log fire and watch a 3D movie on the big screen T.V.

Sprawl on the couch in the sun-filled conservatory, open the doors to meet the breeze, and just relax, kick back on the king size bed, or be pampered with a massage.

The single cottage, specially designed and surrounded by five glorious acres of manicured botanical gardens with mountain views and a private lake, is the perfect secluded getaway. You’ll enjoy complete privacy and ambience - and no traffic noise.

Stroll through the gardens and picnic amongst the kookaburras and feed the baby ducklings. Roast marshmallows on the fire pit, or simply just sit and ‘be’ in the lakeside gazebo with the gently spinning windmill hypnotising your mind to turn off. At night the grounds are lit up to highlight the blossoms, the arch and swing bridges, the antique wagons and the fountain rippling the water - and you don’t have to share it with anyone.

As you arrived late after your wedding, you could at least make the most of a leisurely breakfast and some of the gardens before you needed to leave. I have just planted 65 water lilies in the lake which I hope will be in flower next year for you to enjoy. I'll put in an order for some good weather too.

We will have new magnolia's and roses in flower for the first time this year.
