“Magical unique and a great escape”

Reviewed 4 Nov 2013

Our stay in the hills overlooking the beautiful city of Queretaro was the highlight of our Mexican holiday. Although a little difficult to find, this fantastic cabin is well worth the hunt. The owner, Martin, was very helpful (he actually guided us to the cabin and settled us in) and professional. He is an architect specializing in eco-sustainable housing. The cabin looks almost new and sits on a large hillside plot with huge windows facing down the valley towards the city. The entire upstairs is a very large king bedroom with a full island kitchen and lounge downstairs opening onto a lovely patio all built from local stone, wood and bricks. I just can't say enough about this place, from the amazing design, views and peacefulness to the nightly panoramic star show.
