Description

Stunning modern air-conditioned ground floor studio apartment with free Wifi suitable for two/three adults, situated on the luxurious Pizzo Beach Club resort. The apartment is 15 minutes drive from Lamezia Terme (airport pick-ups available) in the unspoilt Calabrian region of southern Italy, a short five minute drive away from the historic town of Pizzo. The resort has a wonderful restaurant (open during the peak season), pool bar, children's play area, 2 tennis courts, 2 large swimming pools, football pitch, table-tennis, ping pong table and football games table outside the restaurant complex (in the shade), which are all available for the use of residents free of charge. A few minutes walk through an ancient pine/eucalyptus forest that leads to a fantastic sandy beach where you can sunbathe and enjoy peace and quiet or a game of volleyball. Loungers and umbrellas are provided on the beach free of charge for use by residents of the resort.

The one room studio apartment is very tastefully furnished with style and flair to a very high standard and is fully equipped, spacious in size with lots of storage. The one-room apartment comprises a lounge/dining/bedroom area, a fully fitted kitchen with all integrated modern appliances, including an electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer and a variety of kitchen utensils. A separate spacious fully tiled bathroom with vanity unit and wash basin, shower and washing machine with towels is also provided. In the living/bedroom area there is a comfortable three seater settee that opens up into a double bed at night which is suitable for two adults. There is also available an extra folding bed for use of a third adult of a child.

Accessed through large doors and to the front of the apartment there is a separate patio area with use of a BBQ and outside dining facilities, together with secure and free parking.

A Sony Blu Ray DVD player is provided with a USB port for pen drive for music/movies. A top of the range 32" Internet TV with access to utube, Internet music and much more is provided. A satellite box provides over 1000 international channels in various languages. There is also a supply of DVDs for use during your holiday. An iPod/iPhone/CD player is also provided in the apartment.

This well equipped apartment offers a home from home experience and is therefore an ideal choice for an inexpensive self-catering holiday for those who want to relax, unwind, chill by the pool, swim in the sea, sample the local cuisine, and enjoy the beautiful unspoilt area that is Calabria.

Car hire is essential as public transport is not available close to the apartment.

It is strongly recommended that you hire a car for the duration of your stay as public transport is very limited. There are many car hire companies at Lamezia Airport where you can collect a pre-booked car at a reasonable price for your vacation. This will give you the flexibility to explore the stunning Calabrian coastline and is a cost-effective way to enjoy the many restaurants,bars, markets and beaches of this unspoilt area.
