The Gardens Apartment is nestled in a tranquil, leafy riverside setting just 10 minutes drive from the Hobart CBD, Salamanca precinct and the ferry or bus to MONA. It offers high quality self-contained accommodation for one or two adults only.
Built in 2013 and fitted out to a standard that consistently attracts 5 star reviews from our guests (see below), The Gardens Apartment will appeal to those who would like to enjoy some of Hobart's fine restaurants but who also appreciate having the use of a seriously good kitchen while away from home - featuring gas cooktop (with flame-fail detection), 3 function oven, dishwasher, fridge and front-load washing machine. There's all the usual small appliances as well, including an espresso coffee machine (Caffitaly pod system) with some complementary coffee pods and a selection of teas. We provide a small range of complimentary breakfast goodies for our guests' first morning.
Downstairs, the lounge offers high quality 'Tessa' leather lounge chairs and flued gas heating. 40” LED Full HD Smart TV provides Netflix, YouTube, Freeview catch-up as well as two popular social media apps (some require user accounts). There's a Blu-Ray/DVD player and a range of movies for your enjoyment and an Internet radio accessing over 25,000 stations from around the world.There's a Bluetooth stereo for your own music. Free NBN WiFi suitable for streaming, internet and email.
The bathroom is compact and stylish and there is a separate toilet.
The spacious upstairs bedroom has a specially designed lighting system, twin built-in robes and new queen-size bed with high quality pocket spring mattress for minimum partner disturbance and a restful night's sleep. We provide feather, polyester and memory foam pillows to cater for most preferences.
The apartment has its own private courtyard and clothes line. Under-cover off-street parking for guests is provided and is adjacent to the apartment.
Nearby there's easy access to beaches, cafés, pubs, restaurants and the renowned Lipscombe Larder - a delicatessen that provides wonderful meals – either ready-to-cook or pre-cooked, as well as a great selection of Tasmania's outstanding cool climate wines and fine local produce.
We do not allow smoking inside the apartment.
The Gardens Apartment Hobart provides outstanding value and is available for stays of between 3 and 14 nights. We offer generous discounts on the published per-night price for stays of 7 nights or more in Peak Season, Shoulder Season and Low Season (click the Show Rates link in the Availability section for details).

If Tom and Pam (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
