Ideally situated in the historic centre of Tavira,the ground floor apartment is found in a cobblestones travessa surrounded by traditional Portuguese houses where you surprisingly wake to bird song.The pretty "Bishops square" is approximately 150 metres away where you are spoilt for choice for alfresco dining in the surrounding cobbled lanes. The Roman bridge is just a further 100 metres.The apartment is ideally suited for ease of access to all Tavira has to offer, whether beaches, golf , bird watching or eating and drinking out. The apartment is very well equipped and stylishly furnished there is FREE WIFI FOR UPTO 5 devices along with modern essentials like a docking station, flat screen TV with android box so you can watch English channels, sky sports, box sets and latest films.Air conditioning is provided and an outside enclosed courtyard provides for alfresco dining on those balmy nights. The bedroom has a king size bed, plenty of hanging and drawer space plus a hair dryer. The bathroom benefits from a shower plus a bath. The kitchen contains a dish washer , washing machine ,coffee maker,toaster, kettle with a good size fridge and freezer. There is heating available during the cooler months.Underground parking and free use of two bikes

Response from the owner We are pleased that you found the apartment to be clean and comfortable and well decorated in an excellent location. You then state what more could we ask for? Good question ?You allude to " basics such as salt and pepper are not necessarily provided" , I would remind you that we provided water, wine and milk in the fridge, tea, instant coffee, salt , vinegar, oil , sugar and condiments in the cupboard, coffee capsules for the machine , cleaning materials and bin bags and toilet rolls to get you going. This we do for all guests. It's encouraging that you echo all the positives from previous guests that provided 5 star reviews yet due to bad weather ( which there was a lot and unusually so) you focus on the small negatives , such as the bicycles which are provided free of charge as a service to our guests to enable them to explore more freely were not to your taste . The provision of safety helmets is a difficult subject as a poorly fitting helmet is worse than no helmet so for us to provide two helmets of all the different sizes would not be practical , a case of looking a gift horse in the mouth perhaps. The hybrid style is the same as the hire shops and one of them was an ex hire cycle purchased the week before your arrival to replace the damaged bicycle damaged by a previous guest. It is reassuring that you found us to be genial hosts and that is certainly our aim, we want people to come and enjoy their stay with us in our different properties and we have gone out of our way to achieve that over the last five years of managing our own properties. You may find it interesting that we both independently said that if you had been our first guests we would not of continued the business so hoorah to all the others. we wish you enjoyable holidays in the area in the future and to remind you that a roof terrace or deck is not really any better in the rain than a small courtyard.

Very close to all that Tavira has o offer, apartment was stylish and had every amenitie you could wish for either short or longer stays. Owners were very friendly, informative and ensured you were aware of how everything worked and how to contact if needed. 2 bikes also available free of charge which is a bonus.
