This home is a 2 story just a few minutes from the beach. This home features a living room, kitchen, a bedroom and full bath downstairs with shower. The second story has 2 bedrooms and a full bath with shower. The real treat with this house is when you climb the steps to the Palapa rooftop terrace! Relax up here with a cool drink and enjoy the 360 degree magnificent views of the Gulf and the Ria (eco site for flamingos).The home is totally walled and gated for privacy, parking for 1 car inside and also includes a plunge pool for cooling off without leaving the house. The beach is a short 5 minute walk to the end of the street.The house is located on the outskirts of Chelem. You can walk to the end of the street to hail a combi (van) to take you to Chelem, Chuburna or Progreso. Chelem is a scenic seaside fishing village which boasts shops, markets, pharmacy, hardware stores and terrific seafood restaurants/bars, such as Costa Azul and La Terracita. There are other restaurants as well which feature alternate cuisines: El Bullpen, Lizard Joe's, Taco Maya, Sliders and Los Potrillos to name a few. Progreso is a 20 minute drive. Merida, a world heritage site, is about 45 minutes away.Nearby is Dzibilchaltun, famous Mayan ruins and a cenote (deep natural pit). Take a dip in the cool waters.
