Description
The Cottage is a ground floor detached farmhouse composed of two twin apartments, each one separated from the other by an inner door. Each apartment has a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms – one with double bed, the other with two single beds - and a bathroom. Of the two bathrooms, one has a shower and the other a bathtub. If needed, two single beds can be added in the bedroom with the double bed and a double sofa-bed is also available. There is a large garden with two gazeboes to eat al fresco and with a view of the pool on one side and of the landscape – sunset included -beyond. A barbecue is available.
The estate is surrounded by a large common garden hosting all the collective facilities.

Response from the manager the meat was served exacly as requested, nobody complained about that, only that it was too much, that's why we proposed to make some meat balls for the day after, thus using some more ingredients + the time to make and fry them. the dishwasher might have been clogged even after a single use, it just depends what you leave on your plates. eventually we discovered it was probably done by the people upstairs, the same they sometimes heard given that they were alive. nice to receive some bad reviews sometimes, it just makes it more real.

“Beautiful place - wish we'd booked for longer”
We were a party of 5 (married couple + 3 grown up daughters) that stayed for 8 nights in the "Verde" apartment in late August. The Poggianto site had the feel of being deep in the countryside, though in fact only 10 minutes drive from the village of Laterina which has a reasonable array of amenities - supermarket, osteria (pub/restaurant), and other shops. The location of the site was lovely - high on a hill overlooking a typical Tuscan valley on one side, closely wooded on the others. The ancient town of Arrezzo is a little over 30 minutes away with beautiful churches, an enormous hypermarket. The famous and wonderful city of Siena just over an hour's drive distant. The apartment had a good large living room combined with kitchen, a master bedroom with ensuite shower/WC, a second bedroom with 3 beds and a separate bathroom. The hosts took good care of us, with a bottle of wine and water already in the fridge when we arrived. The apartment was very clean and modern in its fittings, while also having a lot of traditional character. We used the shared laundry facility and the pleasant swimming pool area. A bread van calls 6 days a week with a good chouice of fresh bread and pastries We had a very good time there - and would unhesitatingly recommend to other families wanting to holiday in the Tuscany region, especially if their focus was on chilling out rather than travelling to a large number of cultural sites. Liked most: * Welcome and ongoing service provided by the hosting couple who live onsite. * Clean and well equipped apartment. * Peaceful and attractive countryside location. Less liked: * English instructions for finding the apartment could have been a bit clearer - eg. making specific reference to the name of the church "Santa Maria del Vella". * The location in Eastern Tuscany is quite a long way from many of the most famous tourist attractions - so if you want to a lot of time visting places like Florence, might want to consider another rental.
