After Hurricane Maria we have made many updates. We have replaced air conditioners, furniture, and mattresses, plus, outdoor furniture. Come visit our beautiful island.

We are still a stunning oceanfront venue for your wedding or family reunion.

At the Waves is a beautiful beachfront rental unit complex located in Santa Maria Playa, next to the north shore garden district of Bravos de Boston and Isabel Segunda. With a very private and resort like setting these two villas overlook spacious gardens and grounds, a large pool area with multi level decks and the sparkling waters of the sea. Step out from the palm shaded lawns onto the usually deserted sandy beach - perfect for shelling or snorkeling and intimate strolls. The dramatic waterfront views of the neighboring islands and the rain forest of Puerto Rico will delight, especially at sunrise or sunset.

Consistently rated as #1 by Tripadvisor, (see Specialty Lodging, Isla de Vieques for the reviews) and with accommodations for up to 22 people, At The Waves is perfect for weddings or family get-togethers. It provides a stunning setting for special moments. The common spaces are large enough for all - even for numerous outside guests - but also the ample grounds and separate units provide for quiet times as well.

The larger Villa California has two equal sized upper/lower 3 bedroom/3 bathroom units with beautiful views overlooking the pool and ocean and Casa las Olas has a lovely 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit on the lower level, as well as a 2bd/2 bath larger unit on the upper level. There is also a romantic 1 bedroom/1 bathroom. This villa is literally steps from the waters edge.

Units may be rented in any combination of 1, 2, 3 bedroom apartment, up to 11 bedrooms for special occasions.

Recently renovated/constructed, each of these units has a large private balcony/patio areas for dining and relaxation and each bedroom is air conditioned for your comfort with queen or king sized beds. The kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerator, gas stovetops, countertop ovens as well as a microwave, blender, toaster, dishwasher and all utensils. There is a TV with premium package satellite dish and wireless high-speed internet.

With management just a phone call or text message away, you can be assured of insider guidance and information for your secure enjoyment of all that Vieques has to offer. Pre-trip travel planning and car rental information is also provided.
