With the seafront right on your doorstep, our sweet Brighton home is in the perfect spot to enjoy the delight's of Brighton's seaside and buzzing city. Bohemian Kemp Town has an incredible selection of bars, restaurants and shops yet is within easy walking distance of the entire city centre of Brighton with its many delights. Poke your head out of the door and and there is Brighton's glorious beach, perfect for splashing around in the sea in summer months and bracing walks in winter. A ten minute walk along the seafront takes you to the pier and the lovely Queens Park is a short walk away. If you don't want to walk the short distance a regular bus service nearby whizzes you into town. A walk to the train station takes about fifteen minutes.
The house is filled with our eclectic belongings gathered in Brighton's many markets, vintage fairs and nearby antique shops as well as on our travels around the world. We have many antlers and even a deer's head and original oil paintings all add originality to this quirky cottage. It is a cosy, warm and comfortable base in a peaceful street yet with easy access to the Laines, Brighton Pavillion and the many Regency streets which line the city. You can also walk to the Marina along the seafront.

The double fronted house is on three storeys and has two double bedrooms (double beds) and a bathroom upstairs. The main storey has a large living room with velvet sofas and there is a spacious, well appointed kitchen/dining room again with sofa, Smeg appliances etcetera. The dining table seats six.

Downstairs the large basement room has a French day bed that can sleep two but please note that there is no window or door to this room so its best-suited to children or teenagers. There is an additional large flat screen TV which younger guests seem to like whilst their parents are upstairs relaxing! Much of the furniture and equipment is new as this is the first time we've rented out our beloved house.

We can help with restaurant suggestions and give advice and help on what to do whilst in Brighton if you would like.
There is paid for parking nearby which is quite cheap (and rare for Brighton!) around £5 for 11 hours and again we can help with this.
Please note that whilst we want you to enjoy your stay this is a residential street with lovely neighbours so we do not accept stag or hen parties, groups of young adults under 25 and ask that noise is kept to a minimum especially after 10pm.

A very beautiful house in an ideal location for seeing Brighton. We have two young boys and grandparents came too . The basement room was fabulous at night for the boys ( and us! ) they could escape down there with their own tv leaving us to enjoy ours upstairs . Beautiful quirky furniture makes this house a little more special than an ordinary rental. The beach and the pier are a stones throw away.. Our boys are fine running round a football pitch but ask them to walk to places and it's a different matter. We parked the car up on arrival and didn't need it again until we left. Would strongly recommend this property; we had a wonderful time and even managed a tan on Brighton beach!!

Response from the owner We were so glad that The White Cottage proved to be an ideal base for three generations. The house has a separate basement room which children and teenagers love so that they can escape their parents! The beach is also so close that young and old can easily manage the few steps it takes to get there and there is so much to do for everyone within a very short distance. Try crazy golf or beach volleyball nearby or have a ride on the Victorian Volks railway which takes you up and down the coast. Walk to the marina where you can try a fishing trip. Ask us for suggestions and we will be very happy to help with your trip to Brighton.

We've just returned from a weekend in Brighton staying at Ginetta's beautiful White Cottage. Prior to the weekend Ginetta was very helpful with advice and all I can say is she has a beautiful home, well located for everything you could wish for including great bars, restaurants and shops. The interior design of the house is really special, the lounge is large as is the kitchen and basement which can be used as a third guest room, the master bedroom is lovely and there's a second double bedroom if you have guests, 6 could sleep there comfortably. So if you compare the cost to some of the local boutique hotels, you get a lot more bang for your buck and privacy as well - What's not to like! Best Wishes, Aaron & Salli
