Enjoy this cozy 2 bedroom cottage for your next get-away. Located on Sodus Bay, with direct access to Lake Ontario. Great for boating of all kinds. Perfect location with boat dock, portable fire pit, gas grill and large lawn. Beautiful sunsets seen from this protected cove. In the heart of apple country with restaurants and night life nearby. It's the perfect escape for your much needed vacation. Please note that linens are NOT provided. If this is an issue, linens can be provided for an additional charge.

“Too Hot to Handle”

Cute but rustic place. No air, and was not comfortable for the week. We left a day early. Bring own reliable fans. Recommend visit in fall for apple picking. Should be cooler.

Response from the owner I'm sorry it was so uncomfortable during your stay. The unseasonably hot weather we had this year was a problem. Usually this isn't an issue but to ensure the future comfort of our guests, we will be installing a window air conditioner unit in the main living area. This improvement will be in place for the 2021 rental season. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Response from the owner So glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes, the cottage is seasonal and not insulated for extreme temperatures. We close it for the winter months. It usually isn't a problem being too hot but this summer has been sooooo hot, it has become an issue. We are looking into a window unit for the main living area. Hope to see you again next summer.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Linda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
