“Ottima posizione e ottimo appartamento”
“what wonderful accommodation for a stay to the center of Florenc”
We staid to Il Moro apartment for 5 days during the New Year's holidays. Florence is a wonderful city, you know. Furthermore we were really pleased with having found out this wonderful apartment where we spent a memorable romantic getaway. In general, the apartment is roomy, well suitable for couple needs; in addition, there is also a french bed, suitable for one or two kids. What we were really positively surprised about this apartment is the care the renters (who are very kind and available to provide information suitable for vacation) have taken in every detail: not only order and cleanliness, but also every kind of comfort and above all the quality of furnishings for kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. We had all we need, like to be home. For these reasons, the quality-price ratio is really good. If one does want to find a drawback of the accommodation, it is located on the top floor of a historical building with no elevator, hence the baggage transport might result a little bit hard, but it is not too much tricky for a young couple. Anyway, this effort is definitely paid back by all apartment comforts. The location is very good too: at the historical center of the city, 5 minutes walk away from Tornabuoni Street and Strozzi Palace and from Santa Maria Novella Church; getting main train station takes not more than 10 minutes, by slowly walking and with baggage. It takes 10 minutes walk to get the main tourist attractions of the historical city center, such as the Dome and Signoria's Square (with Uffizi building). The central location enabled us to easily get around the city center by walk. A few steps close to the apartment is the stop of the number 12 bus, which leads to Michelangelo's Square and San Miniato al Monte Church. In summary, a wonderful experience... to be lived! We suggest it and are going to get back there!
The apartment is new and clean and is in the very heart of Florence. If you are going to use the kitchen it is perfectely orgenized with everything you may need and very clean. It is very quite in the bedroom we were able to even open windows at night for fresh air. Laura is very welcoming---I really mean it. We always rent appartments and we are quite experienced in it, if I go to Florence next time I will surely take this apartment again.
“Perfect flat in perfect location”
After spending one week in the Il Moro apartment we find it excellent! It is excellent location, virtually few minutes walk from the train station, easy to walk to all the sites and shopping, surrounded by several great restaurants (Il Latini, Giovanni) and wonderful eatery on the corner with prepared food. Also importantly it is away from open markets and everything that comes with it. The apartment is true image of what has been shown on photos, modern, functional, clean and has all that one needs for a vacation stay, with a neat kitchen (including dishwasher!) and spacious dining. The bed and pillows are just excellent. The only negative is stairs so would not recomend to those with a lot of luggage or elderly. The whole feeling was absolutely cozy. Laura was very friendly and helpful if you need anything.
The apartment is perfect. It is super clean, fully equipped and is in very good location. Laura is very nice owner.
I'm proud to say I'm the first person to have rented the place from Laura! First of all, the location. It is situated at the most convenient of places in Florence! Restaurants are nearby, places of attractions as well, and the Santa Maria Novella Terminal is just less than 10mins walk. The accommodation itself is just as illustrated by the pictures from Laura. The place is very "homely" & very well design. It's very clean & spacious. Do note that there's no elevator but after filling your stomach with Tuscany food, a bit of a walk up the stairs isn't a problem. Lastly, about the owner, Laura. She & her husband were extremely helpful and welcoming! We had a problem which required their assistance & they were more than willing to help us. Overall, a splendid experience & a wonderful place to stay if you're in Florence. This review may seem bias or exaggerated but you'll definitely feel this way as well once you've experienced Laura's hospitality.
“I felt at home!”
This was a perfect place to stay for my week in Florence. Its super close to the train station and I felt totally safe and secure as a solo traveler. I get lost all the time but this place was always easy to get back to. When I go back I will absolutely stay here again. There is a washateria around the corner for those traveling for an extended period of time and a nice market on the corner. The bus is a few step to the right outside of your door and the river and access to the other side a few steps to the left. I've said it before but it bears repeating...Perfect!
