“Lots of room, walking distance to the Vatican”

Reviewed 19 Jan 2014

Lots of room in this comfortable 2 BR apartment NW of the Vatican. Large LR, dining area, entry, well equipped kitchen with washing machine, two BR, one large, one well equipped bath. Across the street from an excellent farmer's market where we bought our eggs, butter, bread, wine, cheese. Not near a subway, but a short walk takes you to a major street with buses (we did not use) and taxis that cost about 10Euro to most tourist places. Walk to the Vatican, Castel St. Angelo, etc if you like to walk. One comfortable master BR, one smaller BR that needs a new, larger bed. Lots of closet space. Large LR with TV, hope they add at least one English language news channel. (It's nice to watch some news from home at night!) Christina, the owner's daughter, was extremely helpful getting us settled (in English) and arranged airport and Civitavecchia transfers for us at a reasonable price. Much appreciated. We would happily stay here again and think most people would enjoy it too.

Response from the owner I'm so glad you had a nice stay at my apartment and I wish to host you again at my apartment in Rome. In the second bedroom we just put another brand new bed for a second person. About the English channels, it's a mistery, sometimes there are, sometimes there aren't. In the tv you can select the English language and you are able to see films in English if the channels provide this service! Thanks again for everything. I'm glad to help all my guests as much as I can.

“Great experience!”

Our stay at the Classic Blue apartment in Rome was perfect from start to finish. Cristina was helpful and pleasant, arranged our pick-up at the airport and a shuttle to the cruise ship at the end of our stay. The apartment is spacious, immaculate, perfectly equipped with anything you might need in the kitchen, living room had TV and WiFi. Bedrooms well set up with plenty of closet space. The decor is pleasant and comfortable. The area has two small supermarkets, one at the end of the driveway, the other across the street and a few doors away, both have whatever you need to prepare meals - but the winner is the open market around the corner where we found excellent wines, cheese, hams, breads, sweets, veggies and fruits at good prices. It's in the Vatican area, we could hear the crowd when the Pope came out Sunday. There are bus lines, taxi service nearby as well as banks, restaurants, shops. When it rained a few days, we were so thankful we were in the apartment rather than cramped in a hotel room We went on-line, laughed at YouTube videos in the comfort of the living room and waited for the rain to let up. Both of us were sad to leave, felt like we were leaving home. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment and would certainly stay there again.

“A wonderful apartment”

Reviewed 10 Oct 2013

We stayed here for four nights at the beginning of September and it was fantastic! The apartment is spacious and airy with all amenities required. I loved sitting on the balcony with my coffee in the morning! The location was great and a lovely neighbourhood, with a couple of shops, a bakery, a market and restaurants. We will definitely stay again and Cristina is very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend it.

“Fab apartment in Rome”

Reviewed 18 May 2013

Me and my family recently visit Rome and enjoyed our visit very much. The apartment is perfectly clean and equipped with all the main things needed for a short or long stay. The top of the apartment is the location and its connection to the historical city center. You can not find a better place to stay. You won't be located in a tourist area (so shops are not expensive) but you are very close to saint Peter's basilica and the Vatican area (5 minutes). With subway and buses we could reach all the historical spots in few minutes. Christina was so very helpful and before our arrival, she sent us useful information about the area and the apartment. We will definitely come back soon to Rome and choose Christina's apartments again.

“Amazing apartment for a great vacation in Rome!”

Reviewed 18 Apr 2013

Me and my family (wife + 2 kids: 5 and 6 years old) just came back from out fabulous vacation in Rome last april 2013. We stayed at Cristina's apartment BlueClassicHome. It was the perfect spot to visit the city center of Rome. No hotel can be compared to this location. We woke up in the morning and had breakfast all together on the balcony that faces a very nice garden for kids. With a very short walk we could took any kind of bus to reach the historical city center of Rome. The choice to be close to the Vatican was perfect, also the apartment is located in a residential neighborhood, so you can find markets and restaurants with cheap prices and you are just 1 km far from the Vatican walls. Cristina was very very helpful providing a car service from and to the airport. Before our arrival, she also sent us useful files to locate the apartment and she was at our complete disposal during the whole stay. We would like to recommend this apartment to everyone that wants to live like a Roman! We will definitely come back! Thanks again Cristina!

“BlueClassicHome November 2012”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2013

Perfect apt near Vatican and all busses and trains. Spacious apt, well appointed, great markets. I will never stay in a hotel room again when I can stay in an apartment instead. Miss arena was most helpful with computer, bus pass, maps, etc. Could not have been any happier.

Response from the owner Dear Mrs. NancyB, thanks a lot for your nice review. It was a pleasure to host you at my apartment during November 2012. Kind regards, Cristina

“Coming Home”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2013

My friend and I first visited Blue Classic Home in June 2011 and felt at home immediately with a wonderful welcome. The apartment was very spacious, very well equipped and perfectly located for all our sightseeing. We particularly liked having breakfast and drinks on the balcony as well as the lovely market just across the road. We were just a 15 minute walk from the Vatican which was also an excellent location to pick up one of the hop-on hop-off buses and in fact were extremely lucky to be there when the Pope did his Wednesday blessing. All summed up by saying that we liked the apartment so much I visited again last year with my husband and would be most happy to suggest it to friends and indeed visit again.

Response from the owner Thanks a lot for you nice review about my apartment. I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay at my apartment and I hope to host you again for another trip to Rome. Best, Cristina

“Authentic Roman living, Friendly Owner, Top Class Information Pa”

Reviewed 29 Mar 2013

The apt is spotlessly clean and well furnished, in a residential street close to the Vatican. There is a market, supermarkets, restaurants, chemists and transport on the doorstep. Central Rome is about 10mins away on one of the frequent busses. The owner arranged our airport transfers for us and was very helpful, putting up with all our emails prior to the trip and providing a transport and amenities information pack [printed and pdf] that is second to none. I feel this apt is best suited to someone who doesn't need to be in the middle of the busy [and costly] tourist centre, but appreciates the chance of living like a local. Highly recommended.

Response from the owner Dear Mike, thanks for your very nice review. It has been a pleasure for me to host you into my apartment for your vacation in Rome. I wish could come back soon. Cristina
