OCEAN VIEW - --Stunning views over the beautiful South coast on the Cornish Riviera - a charming log cabin for one or a couple. Conveniently-sited, peaceful surroundings and within easy reach of main travel routes. The railway and bus station (approx. 2 miles). Situated in a hamlet location, close to the historic market town of St Austell (approx. one and half miles from town centre) in Mid-Cornwall. Newquay airport is approx 20 miles.

!This fully self-catering accommodation offers high standard facilities plus an amazing view over fields sweeping down to a wide view of the coast. It is set within a secluded plot with a private entrance and parking for one vehicle. The cabin is well-appointed, maintained to a high standard and comfortable.

The accommodation has a modern and well-equipped kitchen with fan-oven, microwave,toaster, kettle etc.,a breakfast bar (all cutlery, crockery and cookware supplied). A comfortable lounge/diner, marble table (seating 2 persons), sofa-bed for two, occasional table, electric fire, Free-view TV/DVD (also excellent Internet connection) with. The cabin has an attractive bedroom with a double bed(bed linen provided), wardrobe and under-bed storage. Shower-room, vanity unit with basin, WC, hairdryer and towels provided.

The plot is private and secluded, paved patio provides your alfresco dining to the side, a decked area to the front with sea views sun loungers, for your comfort.

Alongside the cabin is a separate laundry facility with washing machine, iron etc. An outside drying area is provided. Freezer picnic box supplied. At the front of the cabin there is an area provided for the barbeque (charcoal BBQ provided)

All electricity, hot water and Wi Fi included in the tariff.

Compact? Yes, clean, comfortable and welcoming as well. In the middle of "real" Cornwall this lovely cabin is spot on for exploring the county. The best welcome pack I have come across for a long time, obviously suppled by very genuine hosts. As Arnie said "I'll be back".

Lovely hosts who very generously left lots of goodies for us. Comfortable and cosy. Chairs and tables outside along with sun loungers and bbq. Fabulous views to the ocean. Wildlife in field in front included two deer, a fox and rabbits. Very good value. Would definitely return and recommend. Used it as a base for walking the South West Coast Path using car and buses.

This was a great little compact cabin with everything you could possibly need. Barbecue facilities and great views. All you could require nearby. Hosts really friendly and helpful. Loved our stay.

“We was booked for a week but went back to Weston-super-Mare”

Nothing it was to quite nothing to do not even a shop or a pub nothing else to say really they seemed a nice couple if you don’t want to do anything it might be ok

Response from the owner We are sorry that you were unable to stay with us. To answer your review we would like to clarify some of the issues raised in your review. You arrived 4 hours early and we agreed to allow access. You appeared unhappy in respect of your last accommodation stating that "it did not have air conditioning" You stayed less tham 5 minutes whilst being shown around and you seemed more interested as to the location of "the town centre" and fellt that "Ocean View was too quiet" We explained that the town centre was 1.5 miles away and that the local Pub was a 3 minute walk from the cabin. There were also local shops 1/2 mile away for erery day shopping. There are a number of quality restaurants near by including those at Charlestown (the port used for many period films including Poldark) and the location of the Tall Ships. There is also a large number of beaches nearby. You left after 5 minutes stating that you were going to "look for the shops" As you did not return we were concerned that you were ok and texted you. You responded with a brief text stating that you would not be returning.
