Description

Lovely, one bedroom duplex apartment situated on the highly prized Windmill Hill development (Alto do Moinho) which occupies a prime position above the Old Town, beaches and new Marina.

The complex and apartment are ideally suited for a couple or family with children.

The apartment is furnished to a high standard and comes complete with all your home comforts in a quiet area of Albufeira.

The ground floor area comprises of a fully fitted kitchen comprising of; fridge/freezer, electric cooker and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a washing machine for your convenience.

Adjacent to this is the dining area with a dining table with seating for four people leading to a spacious, comfortable lounge area benefiting from a flat screen TV, DVD and CD player with a large settee and two armchairs. There is also a double sofa bed for use if required. For the cooler months, the apartment has a log fire in the living room and air conditioning/heating in the bedroom, therefore making the apartment suitable for year round rentals.

The lounge area gives access via patio doors to the patio/dining terrace area with patio furniture which looks over the well tended lawn and garden area. You will find a brick built BBQ for your use and a table and four chairs for your comfort.

On the first floor (upstairs) you will find the master bedroom with two single beds (make a large double bed) with fitted wardrobes and dressing table area. The bedroom also has an air conditioning unit and patio doors that lead to a small balcony which extends to a sea view.

Upstairs you will also find the family bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet, and 'His and Hers' Sinks.

In addition to the patio area downstairs, there is also a private upstairs sun terrace where you will find two sun loungers and a table and four chairs. The terrace is a fantastic sun trap and affords spectacular sunsets and sea views in the distance.

The apartment also offers a selection of children's toys, games and DVDs.

There is also FREE Wi-Fi in the apartment and across the complex.

All linen and towels are provided. Also, pool/beach towels are provided (one per guest, per stay) for your convenience.

The condominium is set within landscaped gardens where you will find an excellent swimming pool with children's section, plus showers and changing rooms. From the poolside terrace you can relax and take in the breath taking views of Albufeira and beyond where you can enjoy a drink and a meal from the pool side snack bar.

For the more energetic, there is a tennis court and football pitch which guests can use.

There is ample free parking for cars on the complex.

A ten minute stroll will find you in the centre of Albufeira Old Town, with many pavement cafe's, restaurants and bars which cater for all tastes. There is also a supermarket within a five-minute walk from the complex.

The Algarve is a little corner of paradise; with Marinas for all kinds of water-sports, golf courses, sailing clubs and horse riding to name but a few. You will be able to find almost anything in this superb year-round destination.

Getting around

Faro is the closest Airport to Albufeira and it takes approximately 40 minutes to reach Windmill Hill. Car hire is not essential but there are numerous car hire companies operating from Faro Airport. The location of our holiday home is in walking distance to the Old Town, beaches and entertainment. There is a small shop on site and a local supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance therefore, a car is not necessary.

Interaction with guest

We have a management company based in Albufeira who will be on hand if you need any help or advice whilst on your holiday. A welcome folder is available in the apartment allowing you to familiarise yourself with the apartment, complex and surrounding area.

“Windmill”

Great location. Lovely townhouse. The place was spotless and the owners have ensured that there is everything you need to hand. They were really accomodating in terms of arrival and departure times as we were not sandwiched between other guests but it was kind of them to let is check in early and out late nonetheless. Highly recommended.

“What a Beautiful Place”
